Picnic Photos...

This is Angie's house all clean and ready for the picnic.
Here's most of the children. They are getting ready in this photo to head back to school.
Arriving and already in the fridge looking for sodas. LOL.
After washing their hands they line up for the food. It was hot-dogs, chips, cookies and soda. I call it junk food picnic. The parents all donate the food .

The kids are getting ready to play some ball here. Some were dancing and playing twister.
Some love drawing on the driveways. I love seeing this.

Look what a sweet cadet teacher the class has. Her name is Savannah.
Now this is the class after eating, playing, and putting this up...they are ready for the long walk back to school. I love that they are getting the exercise today.
Here they head out and a special teacher's aide in in the rear to make sure they all stay close. This year they all walked, no bus service.  I actually thought this has been one of the healthiest classes my daughter has had in a long time.  I love all these wonderful children and truly wish them the best.
This is my second post today. The previous is a picture of last year's class.  Today was nice and some sunshine. No rain till this evening.  XO

  1. What a great event that all the kids will remember even when they are adults. I still remember many of this type of outing from my childhood. Such a sweet time!

    1. Debby, the kids of 5th grade can look like 3rd graders or even 8th graders. That's how their sizes can vary. Today was the nicest day in ages. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

    1. Thank you Laurie. I'll tell my daughter...she chose all the colors for her house. It's getting close to the end of this year's schooling. They are getting out about 3 weeks earlier than before. The kids are getting all excited too. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

  4. Wow, what a nice treat for those kids. I bet that will be memories to last a lifetime for them. They take them on trips here also but they don't do this much anymore. I remember going on nature trips on a wooded path through the woods and what fun we had. Hugs, xo

    1. Susie, I can not believe the trips classes get to take these days. They have been to the Children's museum. They went to an amusement park one day. My daughter ralways throws a picnic at the end of the year. The kids will go to the park to launch their science rockets. They let off a weather balloon on Monday. Crazy isn't it. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

    1. Linda, I see the change in children thru the years also. They lack manners for their age group....of course I like to think it may be the excitement of being away from school. Blessings, xoxo, love, Susie

  10. Oh Susie, I remember those days helping out in the classroom and going on field trips. Those were such great memories. Angie's house looks so green and groomed. I can't believe yours and her home, the lawns look fantastic!

I love seeing the chalk drawing too, Susie. When children draw, it tells me that all is right with the world. :)

    1. Sheri, I get to go to the class Christmas party and the picnic. This year I was there for their swim day also. I love seeing children draw too. One little fellow , who has an aide and is always so grumpy(Honestly, I have never seen a case like his) he was drawing too and seemed so into it...but never once did I see this child smile. I even said, Let Nana hug you sweetheart, I think you need an extra hug..he just let me hug him and still did not smile. Sad. Blessings, love, xoxo, Susie
