I can not help myself, I love my great grands. They grow in the wink of an eye. Look who is nine months old already. Luke is the sweetest baby boy.
This is Luke's mommy (Lynzie) and his big brother Max. Lynzie and her husband Mark read to Max so much that he is now reading to Luke....and he's only two years and two months old. Now mind you, it's his own language at times, but so cute to see and hear.
Max with his older by 10 months cousin Layla. Sweetie pie Layla will be 3 this month. She came into my life as my brother Mark Allen left us, two days apart.
My daughter sent this picture last night. I call it monkeys in a tub. Max, Luke and Layla, getting bathed together , mostly playing. LOL
Now Luke is all slicked up for bedtime. :):) I have to laugh whenever I see the kids' living room floor....toys, books, and sippy cups. Pillows and blankets too. It always play time when they are ready. I am so grateful that my great grandchildren have such loving parents. I wish that for all children.
We are just going to be lazy this weekend. Maybe do some simple chores. Watch movies, write ,read, and enjoy life. Be safe everyone. XO
Good Morning Susie, You love grandchildren whether they are grand or great-grand, They are what keep us young. I know my three boys are what keeps me wanting to get better so that I can go watch their activities. I am enjoying catching up with my friends again. Take care, Hugs and prayers from your Missouri Friend Shirley
ReplyDeleteShirley, Grands and greats do keep us young. I laugh and smile more when I am with them. Shirley, I just can't tell how happy I am that you are back with our blog family. You've been missed. I keep you in my prayers. Blessings to you and yours. xoxo,Susie
DeleteI love my Grands and my 1 Great grand!! They add SO much to my joy. Such sweet pictures of yours :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Doris . We would all love more time with the little babies, before they are walking and talking. LOL That is what I mean about them growing so quickly. If you miss a couple month, they even look older. Blessings to you and yours, xoxo, Susie
Deletebeautiful babies,, looks like our house when the grands are here, toys everywhere!! Quiet weekend here as well, take care lovely lady.
ReplyDeleteLaurie, Whenever I go to Lynzie's , I just get right down n the floor to play. She keeps basket and things for Max to pick up, and he does at times. I quiet weekend has been cold so far. But nice. Blessings to you my friend, xoxo, Susie
DeleteYour grandchildren are precious, Susie. I enjoyed seeing all the pictures of them, and they do grow fast, don't they? Yes, a lazy weekend. I'm going to lunch with my son right now. : )
ReplyDeletelove, ~Sheri
Sheri, I have enjoyed my slower weekend so far. It is snowing this morning somewhat. I am really wanting to have some time with the little fellows, just have to never take any germs into their home. Can't risk making Luke sick. He's getting to be so big. Blessings to you and your family, love you, xoxo, Susie
DeleteSusie- Your great-grands are just so very sweet. Just darling. I love that first picture...he has the cutest little chubby cheeks---just makes you want to kiss them and nuzzle his chubby little neck.
ReplyDeleteHope you are having a good weekend. It has been snowing since earlier this morning and is starting to add up. I am glad I ran my errands early.
My house is always a mess when the kids are here but I don't care a bit. I will have time to 'be clean' when they are gone. Those years fly by way too fast. xo Diana
Diana, I think back to when Emma was little and your S.C. was also. Now they are young ladies. I am not so ready to let the greats grow up that quick. LOL When I go to Lynzie's , I will get in the floor and paly along with Max and Luke. But Max doesn't always like to share me. :) He some times picks up his toys when he mommy asks him to help.Too cute. Our weekend has been kind of gloomy and cold...but I like not having to be anywhere. Blessings sweet friend, stay warm. xoxo, love, Susie
DeleteI cant wait til one day I have a grand baby. I have a baby niece and a new nephew. I do not get to see them much but when I do, It cant let them go. Yours are just the cuttest ever!!
ReplyDeleteLisa, You will love your grands as much as your very own children.See you already love the little ones in your family. :):) Blessings, xoxo, Susie
DeleteYou have such precious Littles, Susie! I do not have any great grands (and, am not sure I will make it long enough to enjoy any), but I adore my grands! There is nothing in the world like a child to bring joy into a family. blessings ~ tanna
ReplyDeleteTanna, I had an early start in my life with my own daughters. So I think I am fortunate to have greatgrands...and they are coming quickly. Four already. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
DeleteYou are BLESSED! They are all cute as can be. I am amazed at how Luke has grown. Looking like a 'big boy' now!
ReplyDeleteKaren, When I see pictures of Max and Luke together, they seem closer in age than they truly are....because of Luke being a big boy. The drs. told Lynzie to get him fatten up in his baby stage to give him a fighting chance in life, due to the cystic Fibrosis. She has done a fine job at that. :) Blessings to you, stay warm, snows today. xoxo, Susie
DeleteOh Susie....the cutest ever! Darling babies!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you Betsy. I am loving every moment I get with the babies. But look at them grow !! Luke looks older since Christmas. :) Blessings to you and yours, xoxo, Susie
DeleteOh those precious babies. I loved the days where you could stick them all in the bathtub together and they had so much fun. Wrapping them up in a towel to dry them off, combing their hair, hardly anything sweeter! Susie, all your kids are precious.
ReplyDeleteNonnie, I think all my girls were in the tub when real little. I love hearing kids giggle in the tub, they are playing but getting clean too. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
DeleteSusie,
ReplyDeleteYour great grands are the cutest. I love that Max reads to Luke in his own language.
That sounds like the perfect weekend. I hope you had a relaxing one.
~Jess
Sheri, I had a great weekend. Got more pictures of the grands. LOL. So happy that my daughter thinks to send them to me. Hope you are getting pictures of your sweet grandgirl. Blessings, love, xoxo, Susie
DeleteThese pictures of the children are so cute Susie! Happy Monday!
ReplyDeletePilar, It's fun to hear little ones in the tub. They giggle and splash, playing while getting clean. Blessings to you, xoxo, Susie
DeleteOh Susie how sweet. They do grow so fast.
ReplyDeleteI wish we had magic wands to keep them little longer. Happy New Week.
Kris
Kris, If I could have time with the babies every week...it would be so much better. But weeks go by. Especially with Luke's C.F. ..we can not risk taking any flu or cold in on him. Blessings , xoxo, Susie
DeleteAwe Susie, I just adore your wonderful pictures of those sweet and precious babies. Oh the one with the bathtub made me smile. I have several like that and I cherish them. Nothing like our little ones. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteCindy, I have photos of my twins in the tub together when they we small. I also have some of most of the grandkids in the tub. I need to get some of the greats to put with all these photos. LOL. I enjoy the babies so much and when I can visit , I love getting the pictures. Blessings to you honey, xoxo, Susie
DeleteDid you ever think you could love anyone more than your kids? And along came your grandkids....now you have great grandkids!!!! It just keeps getting better, doesn't it sweet friend?
ReplyDeleteLove to you!
Debbie
xo
Debbie, It's true, it does keep getting better. I thought once my daughters were born, I would never feel that great swelling of my heart filling with love again. But it happened with each grandchild and now these sweet greatgrands. The sad part is my energy just doesn't last as long. They do not live in the same town and I do not get to see them as much, that's sad too.
DeleteHope you are doing well and not getting too much snow. It's cold here and snowy. I am trying to be patient, waiting for spring. Blessings to you and your family, love you, xoxo, Susie
I always love your posts on your family! Little Luke! 9 months already! We continue to keep Luke, Max and their parents, ALL of y’all in our prayers.....
