Slow Down Babies....

I can not help myself, I love my great grands. They grow in the wink of an eye. Look who is nine months old already. Luke is the sweetest baby boy.
This is Luke's mommy (Lynzie) and his big brother Max.  Lynzie and her husband Mark read to Max so much  that he is now reading to Luke....and he's only two years and two months old.  Now mind you, it's his own language at times, but so cute to see and hear.
Max with his older by 10 months cousin Layla. Sweetie pie Layla will be 3 this month. She came into my life as my brother Mark Allen  left us, two days apart.
My daughter sent this picture last night. I call it monkeys in a tub. Max, Luke and Layla, getting bathed together , mostly playing. LOL
Now Luke is all slicked up for bedtime. :):) I have to laugh whenever I see the kids'  living room floor....toys, books, and sippy cups.  Pillows and blankets too.  It always play time when they are ready. I am so grateful  that my great grandchildren have such loving parents. I wish that for all children.
We are just going to be lazy this weekend. Maybe do some simple chores. Watch movies, write ,read, and enjoy life.  Be safe everyone. XO

    1. Thank you Doris . We would all love more time with the little babies, before they are walking and talking. LOL That is what I mean about them growing so quickly. If you miss a couple month, they even look older. Blessings to you and yours, xoxo, Susie

    1. Sheri, I have enjoyed my slower weekend so far. It is snowing this morning somewhat. I am really wanting to have some time with the little fellows, just have to never take any germs into their home. Can't risk making Luke sick. He's getting to be so big. 5. Susie- Your great-grands are just so very sweet. Just darling. I love that first picture...he has the cutest little chubby cheeks---just makes you want to kiss them and nuzzle his chubby little neck.

Hope you are having a good weekend. It has been snowing since earlier this morning and is starting to add up. I am glad I ran my errands early.

My house is always a mess when the kids are here but I don't care a bit. I will have time to 'be clean' when they are gone. Those years fly by way too fast. xo Diana

    1. Diana, I think back to when Emma was little and your S.C. was also. Now they are young ladies. I am not so ready to let the greats grow up that quick. LOL When I go to Lynzie's , I will get in the floor and paly along with Max and Luke. But Max doesn't always like to share me. :) He some times picks up his toys when he mommy asks him to help.Too cute. Our weekend has been kind of gloomy and cold...but I like not having to be anywhere. Blessings sweet friend, stay warm. xoxo, love, Susie

    1. Karen, When I see pictures of Max and Luke together, they seem closer in age than they truly are....because of Luke being a big boy. The drs. told Lynzie to get him fatten up in his baby stage to give him a fighting chance in life, due to the cystic Fibrosis. She has done a fine job at that. :) Blessings to you, stay warm, snows today. xoxo, Susie

  10. Oh those precious babies. I loved the days where you could stick them all in the bathtub together and they had so much fun. Wrapping them up in a towel to dry them off, combing their hair, hardly anything sweeter! Susie, all your kids are precious.

    1. Debbie, It's true, it does keep getting better. I thought once my daughters were born, I would never feel that great swelling of my heart filling with love again. But it happened with each grandchild and now these sweet greatgrands. The sad part is my energy just doesn't last as long. They do not live in the same town and I do not get to see them as much, that's sad too.
Hope you are doing well and not getting too much snow. It's cold here and snowy. I am trying to be patient, waiting for spring. Blessings to you and your family, love you, xoxo, Susie
