Asking For Prayers....

Today is Ted's dr's. appointment. It at least got moved up by one day.
Ted had a bad week this past week. No energy, some diarrhea and some fevers. We called the clinic and spoke with the dr. He said just keep an eye one it, not to let it get to 101. 5 for four hours or more.
Well it never lasted that long, because I would put ice packs on Ted and give him cool drinks. The fever would break. That has gone on all week too.
Ted spoke with the nurse on Thursday and told her about his temperatures. So they moved the day up one. :( Wish it had been about 4 days earlier.
Saturday was a baby shower for my grandson's baby. Ted's daughter came to be with him while I was gone one and a half hours. I always feel guilty if I leave him.
While all this is happening, I am trying to prep for a double scoping...yikes.  I wanted to cancel for the 3rd time...but Ted said, no , he would get his brother to go with him today.  So today I have to do my running around and get things ready. I start the process tomorrow....and it sounds yucky.
So asking everyone to pray for my Teddy .I am so thankful for all of your sweet words, wishes and prayers. Thanks so much. XO

  10. Dear Susie, Know that prayers are going out each night for you and Ted . . . God bless you both. My heart goes out to you; I know how hard it is to be away. I hate even running to the store and usually use his chemo time for grocery shopping and errands. Then there's always someone who'll put guilt on you for not staying with him through his whole chemo treatment. My thought is that at this time he is surrounded by nurses and the doctor is near and it's better than leaving him at home alone to do it. The last thing we need is while we are doing our best to have guilt throw at us . . . do they not know we are doing our very best and that this is the love of our life. God bless you both, praying as I type and wishing you both a good doctor report, the help you need to get him back on his feet and some peace of mind for you, dear friend.

    1. Connie, I am doing my very best and no one wants to take over..so the guilt I feel is from myself . LOL. I told Ted to tell the clinic to help him, they have the degrees and I only have a Dr. Mom degrees...I can only do so much. These past days have really knocked me out. Thank you so much for your sweet prayers and kind words. I will pray for you and Steve also. We need each other. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

  18. Susie, I'm so sorry to hear that Ted isn't feeling good. I hope the fever has gone down, and he has more energy. You take such good care of him. And you are having to take care of things for yourself too. Oh my, Susie, your hands are full. I will definitely say a prayer for both of you.

What a beautiful sunset. I love how the shadows shine its light on the shed.

It was nice that you got away for the baby shower. Please don't feel guilty - you need that too. And it refreshes you so you can take care of Ted.

It rained here today! I was so surprised to see the rain pour down. It was good to see.

    love you, Susie.
