Things Are Better....

I love to see the setting sun make shadows on the shop.
Beautiful skies and some hot days and a couple of low humidity days that were wonderful.
I have my pumpkins make of old sweaters on the mantle.
My owls are sitting with them.
A little BOO sign.  That's about all I will have for Halloween.
Ted got to come home from the hospital Friday afternoon. He was tired. But this morning he is more like himself. A bit of energy and moving around better.  Of course his med list is a bit different. So I will have to watch that I give him the newer meds also.  I am so glad he is back home and no fevers. They pumped him full of antibiotics and had him on oxygen, while in the hospital. Thankfully all that, the nurses/doctors ,and all your prayers have worked for him. I am so very grateful. Thank you so much. XO

    2. Yes, a daughter, son, and sister who take turns getting me to treatments. Today it is my daughter’s turn. God love her. She was up at 2:30 to run into work for a few hours so she could be “it” for me. Am nearly finished with this time’s treatment and then we’ll be looking for something good to eat. Thanks for your prayers. I am sure that you and Ted feel people’s prayers. I am always aware that people are praying. What a blessing. Speaking of which, many blessings to you and Ted this week!

  10. I am so glad to hear this!!! Yay!!--hope he's feeling even better by now!?---and that y'all have a real nice weekend. Those sweater "punkins" are real pretty!! I'm getting out my Fall decorations this weekend. I am VERY LATE...hurricane and all. It's been what?---at least three weeks and they just now are coming to pick up the stacks and stacks of trees limbs, branhes, and debris that filled our yards. They've had so much, we just have to wait our turn and keep cleaning up. LOL

  26. Love the pumpkins. I have been making some pumpkins but I have been making mine out of colorful pillow cases from Goodwill and some out of scrap material. They are so much fun to make and give away. I love the ones in sweaters.

    1. Pam, I used old sweaters that were not good enough for wearing. I use sections from the sleeves to make the smaller ones. Scraps of ribbons, lace, and fake leaves. I love seeing everyone's ideas . Blessings, xoxo, Susie.

  29. After seeing your sweater pumpkins, I raided the bag I had set aside for Salvation Army and took out a few sweaters. I'm going to try this sometime after I catch up on the laundry (the trip to Canada really screwed up the laundry schedule).
