I Can See Again....

I had my cataracts removed on Monday and Tuesday of this past week.  I can see once more, and I am forever grateful.  This field of beans got harvested last week also.
My daughter Karen brought over the last of her sunflowers for me. and some pumpkins.
This is a sunrise from  two weeks ago.  I am amazed at all I can see now. I do wear sunglasses now.

I had the eye surgery and saw my own eye dr on Wed. he did all the tests and checks and said I had 20/20 vision .  I will need reading glasses for close work. This post will be short , as I am not to be doing much. I go see the eye dr again on Tuesday.  I just wanted to up date and thank all of you for your sweet prayers.  I am blessed with family, friends, and my extended blog family. Thank you !!! XO

  1. AWWWW, Susie!! How WONDERFUL!! I got mine in 2018 and I'm still surprised and delighted to see that trees have leaves, and to read that sign half a mile down the highway! (the old lady in the mirror when I got home is still there---I hoped she was a residual from the surgery and would fade away). I still keep up my baby shampoo wash every day, and am SO grateful for this beautiful world.

  6. Oh yay!!! When you look for your readers, Foster Grant has some great ones...they are $34 and are 3 way. The Ad: Tired of taking your reading glasses on and off? Multi Focus readers feature multiple strengths, so your eyes can focus optimally at different distances for reading, working on your computer and interacting with others. Select your normal magnification power (what you use for reading). The magnification is strongest on the bottom of the lens, and smoothly decreases to about half that magnification at the top of the lens. Good for reading, cuts glare of Computer work. I like them, my eyes kind of rest when I do computer work. I have tried all sorts of glasses, I found these to be the best. Enjoy your new eye sight, certainly a blessing from God.

    1. Oh these do sound very good Louise. My eye dr is making these readers. They think you should have just the right script for your eyes, not off the shelf. So I can go along with that. I knew I could see better when I woke up the first day and saw the clock without making that peep hole with my fingers. LOL. Blessings, hope you are doing well. xoxo, Susie
