A Little Bit Of Christmas...

Or should I say a lot of Christmas???  This is a house in the tiny town north of us. I always love to see their decorations. They seem to collect lawn decor from the 50's to now. No blow up stuff.  I am thinking of giving them my Snowman.
They must have a storage barn some where, as they also have this kind of Halloween stuff too.  They sure light up their neighborhood.
Then not far from there is this old car with Mr. and Mrs. Claus. It is trimmed out in lights and looks so cute. I wonder if the car runs, or if the owner pushes it into place.

I took Ted to the hospital to get his lab work. To have them send it to his heart dr.  Hopefully the dr will get right on that. He had changed up some of Ted's blood pressure meds.   Ted says he feels good....but he isn't doing much of anything but sleeping. I hope that helps him heal.

Hope all of you are getting ready for Christmas. It is so near. I do not know about sending cards, because I have not been to the stores.  I know I have a few and I can craft some...so it may come to that.  Take care , be safe.  XO

  1. Be safe and I hope it will be good news for your Hubby.
It certainly is a different Christmas. I had plans to put up the tree but not sure if it will get done today after all. Our freezer seems to be not working properly. I sure don't want to loose what is in there.Right now it is taped closed so hopefully the freezer will do it's thing. Don't want to call for help on the weekend and pay those prices.

    1. Hi Sue, We have a group of service people who never charge extra for weekends or evenings. They do a fine job. I cleaned our little freezer out and have yet to plug it back in. I need to so I know if it's still working. We used to have an extra fridge in the garage now it's one of those college things. LOL. Hope you can get the freezer checked out Monday first thing. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

Jack when I say my prayers and talk with God about all my mom's old friends, there's not many left...makes me sad. I will send them cards. Blessings to you and Sherry, xoxo, Susie

    1. Debbi, That is fun. Our mom used to drive us around town to look at everyone's lights. I always loved being what we called uptown in our little town to see the stores and streets decorated. Ted is not doing as well as I had he would. I just keep him hydrated and feed. He is sleeping plenty. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

  18. Hi Susie ~ I love the old 50's decorations. How festive. When we lived up North before we retired, people decorated so nicely, and we would drive through the neighborhoods and enjoy the decorations. Sometimes, the homeowners would pass out candy or cookies. Those days are gone. Now we are not allowed to put up many decorations at the complex, and especially now with the shutdown again. But my JOY is not in the decorations, but in the Savior!!!
Glad Ted is doing OK. Don is sleeping more and more...I think it's just they way it's going to be. Slow days, and better days. But thanking God for EVERY day. Love and Hugs

  23. Susie, this is the first year I won't be sending out cards. I haven't wanted to go to the card shops either. Well, I guess I'll just send a picture of all of us through e-mail. Maybe you can do that also. That is wonderful that house has so many Christmas decorations. They look so bright and pretty. That old car with Santa and Mrs. Claus is cute. I hope Ted feels better with more strength this Christmas season, Susie. You have a blow up Santa? Too bad someone can't put that up in your front yard - that might make it more festive for you. Take care, dear Susie. love ya.

    1. Hi Sherry, Oh no I do not have a blow up Santa...It's too windy out here for that stuff. I do have a plastic snowman. It's like the decorations at the house with all the Christmas. I thought they would like one more snowman. LOL Ted is fighting the pneumonia he got at Thanksgiving. It been tough. I think the chemo treatments he had ,may have cause some permanent lung damage. Praying God will so us mercy, for Ted to heal soon. Hope you are having some Christmas Joy. Blessings to all, xoxo, love you sweet girl, Susie
