This is a cute little jar that I got on Saturday, at the 4-H sale. I do not know what it is used for. The lid is metal and screws on a metal rim on the jar. I would think some kind of cold cream jar..except it has pictures of fruit on the sides. It says Royal Worcester Porcelain, made in England, On the bottom. Even though I do not know what it is..It was only one dollar. I thought I could put sugar packets in it. :):)
It does look like something for cosmetics.......but the fruit it doesn't seem right for that.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what it is either but it is very cute. I'll bet somebody knows it origin. xo Diana

What the heck is an egg coddler? Does it coddle insecure eggs? Ha. I like it.
ReplyDeleteOh I was thinking a jam jar...and I know a coddled egg is a way it is cooked...I am thinking maybe similar to poaching, only putting the egg in the coddler?? It is a great find though!
