Brought To Tears....

On Sunday afternoon, my daughter Angie treated me to our High School's  production of Les Miserables.  I thought, oh yes, a fun time with my daughter and she treated. :); )
I have seen a production of this very play at the dinner theater in Indianapolis. Ted and I had been VIP members there for many years. Seen many shows and plays.  But we grew weary of repeated shows. Even though each one was so well done.

This play was given with our High School as the cast , along with 2 fourth grade girls and 1 fifth grade boy.  I was impressed beyond words. So much talent, not one sour note.  Only one glitch in sound, but not for long.  This play was given so well, you were pulled into the story of Jean Valjean . It was all singing. I cried , it was so good ! Angie cried too. I will admit I cried at the Phantom Of The Opera (Beef & Boards Dinner Theater) , but the talent of these young people took my breath away.
Speaking of young people....how young is too young for soccer. LOL
Here's my great grandson Max at the soccer field.  He's not quite two and a half.
This is Max's  daddy Mark. I guess they are just showing the little ones to kick the ball and not pick it up. Lynzie (Max's mommy) says it wears her out. LOL. I think to myself, wait till both boys are playing sports. :)
Today is going to be very warm here. The last few days have been nice.  Enjoy your day. XO

    1. Linda, I like the fact that Max's parents want him to play sports, but at 2 1/2..so young. I can see this age player crying lots.LOL. I remember once when Max's uncle Brock was on third base at age 4 or 5, and he just went to the dugout and sat down instead of running home. LOL. I guess it's at least some exercises. Blessings to you and all the family, love, xoxo, Susie

    1. Ann, Thank you. I like seeing kids in sports. At least they are running and jumping. :):) The H.S. kids were the best I have seen. Even my daughter Angie , who does a lot of the community theater plays was impressed, with their acting.. It was their voices that gave me chills and make me cry. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

    1. Debbie, I like that you take your young ones to live performances. I remember our Savannah sitting next to be at a play, during a scene that is darken for set change...she saw peole moving around carrying things and asked me , "Is this a robbery?" LOL. Oh yes, finally spring. We had about 5 days of nice weather and now rain for a couple days, along with storms. The rub... Blessings to you dear friend. Hope we get to enjoy nice days before the heat of summer. xoxo, love you so much, Susie

  10. Oh my gosh how cute that Max is already showing an interest in sports. Too cute. I bet the performance was great. I love the songs from that play. How nice that you have so much talent right there near you. What a fun time for you and your daughter. I am loving these 80's here and I am sure with you being even further south you are having warm days too. Finally!!! I cannot wait to get my flowers going.

    1. Kris, I love that Max's parent want him in sports. The grandson that totally loved and played about every sports was Jake. Once when he was about four shooting baskets with a nerf ball in the house, he kept saying, "And he scores" so much that Angie turned the lights out in that room ...she said then out of the dark she hears, "And he scores." LOL
Things are growing now with this super warm weather. I prefer 65 as a high. LOL. I will be getting to Horton's soon. I want wave petunias in all my containers ...plus I am thinking of marigolds to ward away bugs. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

    1. Missy, It seems our children and grands are into all sorts of entertaining things. I like to see them play baseball....but think the games should be shorter when they are so young. You know a couple of innings, a snack , then a nap...oh maybe that's me. :):) Blessings, xoxo, Susie
