Hey look who's walking !! Well he is not real steady just yet. But you can tell he loves it. Lynzie and Mark took the boys and went on vacation to Florida. They always go with other family members along too.
Max is getting to be a big boy (oh too soon) , but he is not so big as to run into the ocean. LOL
He is off with Daddy exploring.
Went to the light house. I do not know exactly where they went on vacation. Just know it was oceanside Florida.
Max tried his luck fishing. Oh this made me laugh, I told Ted that someone was getting ready to be included in his fishing trip to Reelfoot one of these days.
Luke looks like he isn't sure of the feel of wet sand on his feet. Can't wait to snuggle this sweet baby.
The rose bush, that I keep here for my daughter, is blooming again. Must be the miracle grow.
I have always loved the color of this rose. The reason I call it Kathy's rose....she got it for mother's day once when she lived up in the northern part of the state. When she moved, she wanted me to keep it for her, so she dug it up and we planted it here. It has always given me some wonderful blooms. I take pictures of them and send them to Kathy, to let her know her mother's day rose is still going strong.
The weather cooled just a bit here. This morning is sweet, cool and quiet. I will be meeting my daughter for lunch today. Angie goes back to school soon and we need a day together. Ted will be home from golfing by then...he can surely get himself lunch. :):) Well I better go get it ready ,so all he has to do is eat. LOL
Thinking of some of you today and holding you in my heart. My prayers. Enjoy this day. XO
Hi Susie! Aw! The ocean and grands = LOVELY!ReplyDelete
You're having lots of fun with family. That's the best!
Oh it is the best of times when family is together. I wish everyone could enjoy the closeness of entire families, children, grands, and great grands. And don't forget time with siblings too. Blessings, xoxo, SusieDelete
oh those grand babies are so cute,, and growing so fast!!! I think the rose that you dig and replanted is such a beautiful thing,, its heart touching,,have a good day our with Angie,ReplyDelete
Thank you Laurie. Our babies are growing so fast, as are yours...most moms and grandmas see it and know what I am talking about. If we could make time stand still. I feel like that rose is still my daughter's. He son gave it to her when he was so young. Blessings, xoxo, SusieDelete
Looks like lots of fun! We've been having a lot of pop up showers here in Florida but you can usually time things to spend time on the beach. Enjoy your lunch! Hugs!ReplyDelete
Thank you Diane. I am so glad the children can have time away from chores and work...and have other family along too. Our families are special in life, always there for us. Blessings, xoxo, SusieDelete
You share so many beautiful moments with your grandchildren Susie! I know that you must cherish these moments. I hope that you have a nice lunch with your daughter!ReplyDelete
Pilar, I am shock at every photo of the great grands ...I see them growing and changing. Makes me long to hold them on my lap. I saw a sign once that said, "let me love you a little longer, before you are not little any longer. " That is how I feel at times. Angie and I had a fun time lunch, nothing fancy, DQ. But fun always. Blessings to you honey, hope your spirits are lifted. :) xoxo, SusieDelete
Hi Susie ~ What precious pictures. Children just melt my heart. These are beautiful. That is a stunning rose. Makes me happy my dearest nicknamed me "Rose". Your grandchildren are so adorable...is there any better title than Grandma. We have no "little" ones...in fact one of my granddaughters turned 30 today!! How can that be. Live moves on at 90 mph. Love and HugsReplyDelete
Wanda, I know how you feel with a granddaughter turning 30. I have one that age also. I always hope my Kathy feels loved, when I send her photos of the rose bush ,her only son ,gave for mother's day many years ago. I am ready to hug on the great grands and squeeze them for about an hour. LOL. Blessings to you, xoxo, SusieDelete
Like and Max at the beach are just precious! I bet their parents are having a great time seeing the kids discover and enjoy the water and wet sand. The rose is beautiful and I sure miss all the roses I had. Next year I think I will plant some in a pot so I can find just the right spot. I hope you and your daughter had a wonderful time at lunch. You are so blessed to have so many sweet times with your family. .ReplyDelete
Luke, of course. Sorry that slipped by me.Delete
Nonnie, I some times type and click before I even prove read, and even after prove reading I see letters missing or flip flopped. .so no worry. LOL It is fun to see little ones discover . I got a picture later of Luke squeezing the wet sand in his hands. LOL I am proud of the good parents my grandchildren have become. I had some knockout roses that did not produce one boom this year. I am not so good with roses. I am surprise every time I see a rose on Kathy's rosebush here. Blessings, xoxo, SusieDelete
I love your photos, first steps, and first visits to the beach for the little ones!ReplyDelete
You have done a great job transplanting Kathy's rose bush. Love that color! Enjoy this nice cooler weather!
Karen, I am thankful for this cool down. Sweet mornings outside. I was hoping to have Luke walk to me when he first started walking. Now Lynzie will have two boys to run after. LOL. Kathy's rose surprises me with how it keeps giving. Blessings to you for a great weekend. xoxo, SusieDelete
Adorable wee ones! Looks like the beach visit was a lot of fun.ReplyDelete

Your posts make me so happy to catch up with your life. That little Max is a doll! We are blessed with all of these grandkids. Call me lame, I'm relived when they go home--I need a nap!ReplyDelete
The rose plant is beautiful---Stunning!
Blonde, My friends says they can't play on the floor with their grands. That is exactly what wears me out. I get on the floor with them. Crawling around and then lifting the boys at times. Gotta play cars. Read books, I love it all and am totally exhausted afterwards. :) I am always happy to see a new rose on Kathy's sweet rosebush. I know it makes her happy to see the pictures, when she can't be here. Hope you are healing completely and feeling brand new. Blessings to you honey, xoxo, SusieDelete
