This first photo is the Friday evening sun reflecting on our trees.
This is granddaughter, Savannah and her mom, Karen. We are ready to go to Savannah's choir concert.
The kids caught the bus at Rossville and then went to West Lafayette Jr/Sr high school. for the concert. I thought it must be a sing off. Because there were 17 choirs. We watch the 1st three. Savannah was in the third choir. Once she sang , they took the bus back to Rossville school. Then Karen and I picked Savannah up for lunch.
Look who joined us for lunch ...Emma.... and her mom. We ate at a place called Treece's. They serve many things, salads, sandwiches, complete dinners. But hey the coffee was not to my liking. Don't ask.
After lunch we went to this junk shop...called the peacock. They had a bit of everything. I will show more photos tomorrow. It was a great day with my twin daughters and their daughters. The weather was just wonderful. I hope all of you had some enjoyment today. XO
Hi Susie,
ReplyDeleteLooks like lots of fun for your girls. Singing and lunching and then junking. My kind of fun day!
Have a great week end.

DeleteWhat a fun weekend you are having Susie ! Daughter, granddaughter, and grandmother all gallivanting around town :)
ReplyDeleteI bet the choir was a delight, and made you proud that Savannah was a participant.
Looks like a good 'junk shop'...lol

Jo, It was a very good day. I loved it and needed it. :) The skies were blue too. I was proud of Savannah. I told her I wanted to hear her voice. :) Hope your weekend is working out as a fun one. xoxo,Susie

ReplyDeleteJudy
Judy, The junking was a total surprise for me. I was just enjoying being with my two youngest granddaughters and their moms(My daughters) Hope you are doing well Judy, I think of you often. xoxo,Susie
DeleteLooks like a fun day. I am surprised that the didn't stay to see the rest of the kids sing. I used to love that part when I was in school. It gave you a chance to meet kids from other schools. That junk store looks like fun.
ReplyDeleteHi Debby, I truly did enjoy hearing the choirs that we saw. But we had to beat it back to the Rossville school to pick up Savannah....as the kids had to ride the bus to and from their own school..and the concert was in another town. I love hearing children sing. Hope you get to enjoy concert with your grands too. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteLooks like you had a fun day. The weather was nice today but I had to work. Tomorrow (Sunday) it will be even nicer. We plan a day trip. Oh and open my windows.
ReplyDeleteOh I hope you play music and sing along as you are traveling today on your day trip. I am loving the fresh air. But IT's not been warm enough to open our windows here at home. Blessings for a fun day, xoxo,Susie
DeleteSo glad you had a fun time! Looks like you had beautiful weather too. I was out and about with my daughter for awhile yesterday. Always fun but my back has been so bad I was physically miserable.
ReplyDeleteHope you have many more good times like this!
xo
Pat
Pat, I hate that your back was hurting while you were trying to enjoy your mom/daughter time. I have back problems once in a while...it's no fun. Pain takes away from our lives., at times. I carry two Tylonel in my purse for emergencies. Thank you for the wishes. I also wish you and your daughter some fun times..pain free. xoxo,Susie
DeleteWhat a great way to spend the day! Can't think of anything better than being with family :) May tomorrow be just as lovely! Blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteCindy, I absolutely love being with my daughters or grandkids...being with both is a true joy. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteI'm jealous. I have wanted to stop in that place before and never have the time.
ReplyDeleteSusie, it must have been so special watching Savannah sing in the choir. I always use to love it when the kids had plays and such. And to see her all dressed up with red and black.
ReplyDeleteSusie, that picture of the sun reflecting on the trees is absolutely stunning. I love it!
Have a beautiful week, my friend.
