A Few Moments....

I went out as the sun was setting last evening.  Got some of the weeping cherry blossoms in this shot. The tree is leafing now, the blooms are short lived.  I just love how delicate they are.
The sun is going down behind a cloud in the horizon. In a matter of just a few moments the skies change in colors.
This is the woods across the road from our house.
Looking toward town. Our courthouse clock tower can be seen through the gap between the trees. When we first moved here, if I could not have seen that I do not know if I could have stayed here. I cried for a month after moving. I still miss living in town.
The sun has made it's exit for Wednesday here in Tipton. Yesterday was a truly beautiful day. I started it by going for a blood draw at the hospital. The lab girl took seven vials of blood. I thought I would need a transfusion afterwards. LOL. My doctor wanted a full work up.  Hope that all comes back good. All this to adjust my cholesterol medicine.
Hope all of you have a good day. XO

    1. Nellie, When the lab asst. asked me what I was going to have for breakfast, I said some cardboard cereal(bran). LOL. Then she ask the man next to me and he said , "I am on my way to McDonalds right now. " LOL...I bet his wife didn't know. I am so loving the flowering trees here. The neighbor's apple tree is so pretty . Blessings for a fun day, xoxo,Susie

  5. Oh Susie, your pictures are beautiful today and very peaceful. I didn't know you lived away from town. No wonder I'm in awe every time I see your home and surroundings. Living around nature is one of the best places I think. Are you glad that you moved there now? There's a country road right by my house, and I'm thankful for it every day.

    love, ~Sheri

    1. Sheri, There are so many thing I love about being in the country...no barking dogs next door for one. Quiet, peaceful mornings and evenings, once the crops in sown or harvested. But I am a small town person and I love our town so much...I miss hearing the church bells, running to my daughter in five minutes, or my sister's houses. We live right near a road and it's always plowed to get out in winter. I thank God for His wonderful blessings He has given me in my life. Love you, Susie

  7. I love that view of yours! I used to think I would love living in the country - but I probably wouldn't. Spending time down on the ranch is the perfect balance of town and country for me!

I have been through that same thing with my cholesterol! The medicine can indeed cause serious problems. I now have fatty liver disease - a diagnosis my doctor arrived at after much blood work and testing. The treatment? Nothing. She said, "You just have fatty liver disease."
Prayers that YOUR blood work comes back GOOD!!!

    1. Country living is just not my favorite . I liked town life better. You know I only lived 2 blocks from my mom where I used to live. I sure hope I get good results from all that testing. Thank you for the prayers. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

  9. Your sunset shots are beautiful, Susie! I love the country, but now I'm glad I live at the edge of town just inside the city limits with a few acres behind our house. It's the busy highway out front that I'm not so fond of! I do like the convenience of running down town, but the Dairy Queen is a tad too close for my waistline. haha!
I hope your test results come back good. Take care and have a nice Friday!
