Lots Going On Here.....

This is yesterday morning' s sunrise.  There's crop dust in the air around these parts.
I did do some decorating for fall on the porch. This little table is a perfect place to decorate.
The neighbor man is cutting soy beans this week. Here he is down the road. You can see some of the dust.
His uncle Rich helps since he retired from his career job.
Our great grandson Max is getting a big boy hair cut. Good thing he has that lollipop to take his mind of the buzzing of the clippers.  :):)
Oh look at our sweet Luke, he is five months old now. Such a happy baby.
This picture shows he is teething, always drooling. I want you to look at those big blue eyes.  His mommy is a sweetheart and always shares her photos of the boys.
On the 18th of last week, a cat came to visit or stay, not sure which. I gave him some milk. he loved it. This cat  is pretty like he may have been a house cat. But is  somewhat thin and scared. My daughter Kathy has posted his photo on a lost and found page.
We thought we had found his owners, but the more photos my daughter posted, the lady said it was not her cat.  So I want to call him Stormy , because he came during a down pour that day. I hope the neighbors want him for a barn cat. We are not giving up on his owners just yet.
I wanted to show this little bottle of honey, that Cindy of  Bee Lady From Hilltop  Farm gave us when we met up at Horton's.  Some sad news. she may be giving up her bee keeping this year.  I thought it was so very kind of her to give us honey. :):) Cindy is a great fun loving girl.  She is a bee keeper ( for now) , crafter, works like crazy with yarns.  She is so talented.  Love that girl.
I will end this post with the sunset, from Tuesday also.  It isn't totally setting in this photo but it's pretty.   Hope you are enjoying your week so far.
Still sending prayers for those left with so little or nothing from the hurricanes. XO

We have a cat just like that, that my husband brought home from the cat shelter almost 4 years ago.
That cat breed is very affectionate and they love to be petted!
    Have a wonderful week!

  4. What a lovely tie-up-the-ribbon-on-Summer and welcome FALL! I love your scenes, for I know I miss a lot of sunsets---we "live" in the other side of the house, mostly, but it's so lovely to see the beams coming down the stairs in early morning.

SWEEEET boys! I know your heart is overflowing.

    1. Rachel, I do not get good sun rises here...too many wooded areas to the east. You know once the crops are down we will be able to see forever. LOL. Yes, you are so right, my grands make me feel so much love. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

  5. It was good to see Max and Luke! They are so precious and it's wonderful you can share photos with us!
Summer is here at home with me. Ruth Ann and I drove to Rowlett and picked her up last night, she's been through a lot and is still a bit traumatized and cries a good bit now. She didn't cry at all until last night. She will stay here another night and I'm enjoying every minute! Love seeing her with my own eyes!

Love you Susie Q! Thank you for your prayers! The photo f you and Ted is on our refrigerator door and this morning Louis Dean said, "Good morning, Susie Q!"

    1. Pilar, I like the cat name you called the cat around your house. :):) I really do not want this cat and the neighbors truly need one for their barn. All their old barn cats are gone(coyotes, I think). So they could use one...hopefully someone will see the pictures my daughter posted on a lost and found page...and claim their cat. Blessings to you, hope you are safe from the storm , xoxo, Susie

    1. Missy, My neighbors are in need of a barn cat. I think the coyotes got their others. I have not heard the coyotes for a long time, they may have ben ran off from the hunters. I will make sure this cat gets a good home. He still seems skittish. But come to eat , oh yes, I bought him food. LOL I can not stand to think of him being hungry. He is getting his strength back, from eat here and having milk everyday since he showed up. :):) Blessings, we are cooling down this evening, xoxo, Susie

    1. Mildred, hank you for the loving comment. My grands are precious to me...we all love our families, don't we? I am hoping the lost and found page will help the cat's owner come get her. I feed her everyday...yes, I went and bought cat food. LOL. I sure won't let it starve. My neighbors are in need of a barn cat. They always feed them too. Blessings to you, hope it's not too hot there, we are cooling off for a few days. xoxo, Susie

  14. What precious pictures of the boys, Susie. That is such a funny picture of Max getting a hair cut. And little Luke is five months old.....it seems like just yesterday you were writing a post about him when he was born. I had a great time this weekend at the baby shower. And I'll show pictures of that soon.

    love, ~Sheri
