I remember buying this sweet sign at Horton's one year. I love it. It's on the dining room shelf, just barely. :) I like it mixed with all the cards that have family pictures and my Emma and Santa photos.
One of my mother's best friends made this little deer and tree. It sits beside a fat baby Emma on Santa's lap. Then there's Max from last year.
These pictures are all the same kids at different ages. Sam and Maggie.
A snowman and tree under the shelf. Kind of a dark photo, sorry.
I stepped outside to take a picture of our beautiful blue skies yesterday and the school bus was coming down the road, so I wait to get a shot of it. Just dawned on me, the neighbor boy doesn't even take the bus any more...he is driving and has for a couple years. Growing up. :(
Here's a small baby boy I want to keep little for awhile yet. This is Luke playing with some toy and all excited about it. So cute.
. It's cold here and snow on the way. I will be getting to the grocery, lol...you know how that goes. Got to have enough milk. Wishing all of you a great day.
it's sure is looking a lot like christmas - i so enjoy seeing the picture christmas cards!!

DeleteMerry Christmas Susie. I always love my visits here and photo cards are my very favorite, they go into the family album after Christmas:)
ReplyDeleteConnie, I just keep the photo cards with my decorations. I laugh about how Emma was so chubby sitting on Santa's lap. I miss her staying all night with us. I love receiving photo cards in the mail...they are special. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
DeleteWhat? No bread to go with that milk! I like the Dickens sign. I have a Dickens saying hanging up in my house too. Brrrrr....it is cold outside. We've had some beautiful sunsets though. That Luke is a cutie, no wonder you want him around for awhile!
ReplyDeleteCindy
Cindy, I actually bought 15 yogurts, two large hams, meats, fruits, milk and juice. LOL. I already had bought bread on Monday. LOL
DeleteI love my little Christmas sign and the photo cards. I am getting excited to see everyone for our gathering. It will be early this year. I can take the cold if the wind would no blow so hard. Stay warm, Blessings to all, xoxo, Susie

DeleteI am! The holiday season is going well! I just wrote a reflection 2017 and pre birthday post the other day. I love this time of year! I hope you're enjoying the holiday season as well!
DeleteChristmas Past Memories get more precious every year. My sister, Nita, puts up the photo cards for past Christmases every year. I think I’m going to start doing that.
ReplyDeleteLinda, I love the photo cards and like getting them out at Christmas. I do not get to see my nieces and nephews a often I would like. I always love seeing the old photos of Emma and Santa, makes me smile. Blessings to you, hope the party went well. xoxo, love, Susie
DeleteLuke is so adorable. What a cutie pie and great pic of him playing. Love your snow guy with the tree so cute. That sign with your cards is beautiful. Have a fun week.
ReplyDeleteKris
Kris, You know how we love to cuddle the babies. I can not wait to hold them again. I will be meeting baby Leo for the first time. He lives in Cincinnati. Hope you are getting hugs for your little girls. :):) Blessings, xoxo, Susie
DeleteOh, I love your sign, Susie, and I've always loved that Christmas verse. Putting it by your cards is the perfect place. The deer and tree are so special, as your mother's dear friend made them. Wouldn't that be nice if we could keep Luke little for awhile - he's so precious. And I love this picture of the school bus in front of your house, Susie. Did you know the neighbor boy well who used to ride the bus? Yes, they grow up so quickly. Francesca is already a month old!
ReplyDeletelove, ~Sheri
Sheri, When I see the little deer and tree that mom's friend made, I think of them and it makes me smile. I hope Luke stays little enough for me to hold and hugs and snuggle...just a bit more. Yes, Sheri, we know the neighbor boy very well. He used to come over and play with our cat. His name is Josh a sweetheart of a kid. He will be graduating this spring. We will be getting him a gift. I just miss him catching the bus...he drives now. :):)
DeleteOh your sweet baby girl is growing...squeeze her. Blessings to all, love, xoxo, Susie
I love that quote from Charles Dickens, I had it on a Christmas card once!
ReplyDeleteThat dear baby Luke, I want to pick him up!
Kay, Luke is a bit of chunk, his mom had to fatten him up from the beginning, as he has C. F. The drs said the healthier his start the better.
DeleteI love all the Charles Dickens stories. Christmas Carol is my all time favorite. Blessings to you, xoxo, Susie
I clicked on all your pictures so I could get a better look. The children all look so cute. I am afraid that the baby, Luke, will not stay little. Enjoy them when you can!
ReplyDeleteCher, Our Luke is growing and I know he must...but oh I want to hold him a bit more while he is a baby. :):) I will one day make my blog over, but I know I will need help, I hope to have bigger photos then. Blessings to you, hope you are doing so much better. xoxo, Susie
DeleteHi Susie, long time no see! lol! Well, it seems like a long time since I've felt really good and was online long enough to visit my friends. It's looking like Christmas at your house! I've always loved the Chas Dickens quote. Did you get some snow? We haven't had any here yet, but it was so windy yesterday that I felt like I lived in KS or OK! Whew. I had gone shopping and I thought I would get blown off the interstate. Loved seeing that sweet little Luke and also the school bus in front of your house brings back many memories!
ReplyDeleteCheryl, I hope you are feeling much better. Being sick or just out of sorts even is no fun at the holidays. We had that once dusting of snow and it's even been very pretty here a couple days. But plenty cold. This weekend is to be in the mid to high 40's. We did have some high winds too. I don't think there could be any pine cones let on the trees. LOL I am sure hoping every things works out for this weekend...so I can be with all the babies. Blessings to you, xoxo, Susie
DeleteI'm putting off going to the grocery right now. It's so crowded these days.
ReplyDeleteStay warm and toasty!
CUTE kiddos!
I have been to the grocery twice and the little stop & shop about three times. They are all crowded. I just can't make myself go late at night any more. :):) Blessings to all at your house, xoxo, Susie
DeleteSadly, I don't think Luke is going to stay little because you wish it!! Enjoy each day, they go fast..I love your special Christmas things..Have a Merry Christmas
ReplyDeleteOh Missy, I know...so sad. I just want to get some more squeezing in on that baby. LOL I try to gleen some joy everyday, some times it's harder than others. But family really helps. Blessings to you my friend, xoxo, Susie
DeleteHi! Remember me? Oh I know all about the grocery store preceding a snowstorm. It really got crazy after the blizzard of '78. Actually two storms measuring a total 40 to 50 inches of snow in a few days. Since then the mere mention of snow makes everyone flock to the markets. Panic buying is what we called it.
ReplyDeleteVery cute kids.
Boy do you live in a totally different area than where I live. you have space! Anyway I hope I will be back on a more regular basis. I thank you for your support. Sorry I didn't mean to sound like a politician.
Boston Boy, I have really been missing you. I hope you and Arlene are in good health and doing well. I bet you do not miss those crazy holidays in the grocery business. We have had the easiest winter so far. Mostly high winds, only that dusting of snow. This weekend may seem like spring. I am not complaining as the older I get the less I like snow. LOL. Take care , enjoy your Christmas. Tell Arlene hello.Blessings to you and yours, xoxo, Susie
DeleteWhat a cutie pie!!!
ReplyDeleteRobbin, I am planning on hugging and hugging my great grandkids. I just love them to pieces. Blessings to you honey, xoxo, Susie
DeleteLife has a way of passing so quickly! Kids grow up and change so fast. I know you are enjoying every moment with them that you can! Hugs and blessings to you Susie!
ReplyDeleteOh, yes...all our grands are grown and the 4 greatgrands are well on their way to older too fast.
ReplyDeleteThat little fellow is adorable.
Hi there Susie! Little Luke is so so cute! Glad you stopped by and enjoyed the mermaids. I love it there and never tire of it. Liked seeing all your pretty holiday decorations and the family pictures! Did you get snow?? Hope to see pretty pictures of it!
ReplyDeleteWe have gotten no snow, darn it. Warm this weekend in the 60/50's.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteWe are in for a snow storm this week. Maybe up to 8 inches.
I caught up with your posts. I really like your Nativity. I also like your plaid throws on your couch.
Wishing you a great Christmas.
