Now What ????

I know I must be the unluckiest person ever at this time. Just got my computer back . A power gltch took out the hard drive. A new one is in and so is window's 10 latest upgrade. Now I have no addresses, no windows email, no pictures , except for some old ones. I just had about an hour on the phones with the Geek support group....this after bringing my computer home from the Kokomo store. Gaaa...why?
Ted had an appointment yesterday at the bone marrow clinic. Next week is a week of driving over an hour each way, everyday....so Ted can get chemo infusions for maintenance. We were not expecting this just yet.  His counts go up and down. His kidneys did perfect for a week without the cyclosporine. ..Now he is back on that med.  Please keep us in your prayers. Thank you so much.
We will be going to a family outing at my daughter Angie's for the 4th. It will be good to get hugs and see the little ones. I miss them all. Ted has his days. One day good ,next day feeling low. The dr. says it's normal what he is going thru.
Wishing all of you lots of fun family moments this week. Bless you. XO

  3. Susie, I'm sorry your computer was not working and you lost your pictures. But if you're going to put up old pictures, this one is definitely one to use. I LOVE IT! It's perfect for the Fourth of July, and those painted vases are so cool. They look pretty with the red flowers. I'm sorry Ted has bad days, and I am keeping you both in my prayers. It will be nice to go to Angie's house and visit with the family. I just got lots of hugs from Francesca last weekend, and it sure does a grandma good.

Wishing you a pleasant Fourth of July at your daughter's house, Susie.

    love you, girl.

  4. I imagine both of you must have your days, dear Susie. And computer problems don't help at all. I hope you get all your pictures and info back somehow. And please know that Ted's name is still on my kitchen cabinet where I see it every day to remind me. Our neighbor's wife's name is now on it too as she is beginning treatment for breast cancer. I hope you both have a good Fourth visiting your family. I'm sure you will have some good food.

    Love to you,
    Dewena

  5. After I updated to a new iPhone, I lost so many things. One was a recorded message from John that I treasured. It’s been a few weeks, but when I checked it was back. Phew. I need to make a copy or something. Hope that your troubles are solved and resolved, too.

I am also sorry that anyone must have daily chemo infusions with all the travel involved. May it all go very well indeed. Keeping you both tucked in my prayers. Better, brighter days are coming! Have a wonderful 4th with your family. Those hugs and kisses will be like vitamins.

    1. Thank you so much Vee. I am glad you got the recording of John's voice. I know that meas so much to you. I like hearing my mom's voice in old videos. Thank you for the prayers...we need them and appreciate them. Yes, praying the chemo does what it is to do to keep Ted going for the marrow to grow healthy .So much to this transplant thing we did not know about. I have read the book they gave us many times and still am surprised. Blessings to you sweet girl, xoxo, Susie

  9. We also have a family outing on the 4th. We're looking forward to it and wanting to see everyone but there's that scare about Steve's immune system and chemo. You and Ted are both in my prayers.

    1. Thank you Connie. You both are in my prayers also. I know what you mean about the immune system worries. Ted counts are high now and I don't have to worry as much....but I do. He will wear his mask and avoid the babies. Which is hard, he loves to talk to them and hear what they say. Blessings for a fine day and not too tiring. xoxo, Susie

    1. Thank you my sweet friend. I am so ready for family time. You know what I mean. You are a family person too. Ted is doing well this week. He may get tired today, we have not had much company since he's been home. His counts are high and he will wear his mask . Not be hugging the little ones probably...but I sure will. I miss them all. Oh our computer is a mess even after 260 dollars. I am disappointed in our Geeks. But I need a computer to help me escape my bad days. Blessings to all of you there in Texas. Love you so much, xoxo, Susie

    1. Hi Debbie, Our fourth was great fun and good food. We had a long day, but could not stick around for any fireworks. Ted watch the Macy's show on TV. I went to bed early. He has done well. I have had no desire to try things on this computer , mainly because I don't know where to start. Maybe get one of the grands or my daughter to come help me. Hope you are getting nicer weather there and enjoying your gardens. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

  17. Missed this post, Susie...sorry to hear about the computer issues. They really can drive a person nuts. Hopefully you can get it where you need it again.
I'm sure it is quite normal for Ted to have the ups and downs...it sounds like he has a great medical team staying on top of things! So glad you were able to enjoy the 4th! Sending prayers...xo
