This is yesterdays snow dusting. Today it is snowing more and plenty cold. I love walking up and down our driveways, for a bit of exercise. I like when my face is cold, don't know why. I talk to God while I walk.
I bet our birds are thinking,"come on people give us a bath warmer." Poor things. We do put out seed and suet. But I forget the birdbaths most times. I have seen birds eat snow, or it appears they do.
Keep warm everyone and be safe. We only have 55 more days till Spring. Yes, I know it can snow on into Spring, but then it won't last so long.:):) The weather forecast says...in the 50's for Tuesday. I say, Wow!! xo
Oh...I am so glad to hear that you will be warming up a bit next week! I have been watching the weather in the midwest...it's been brutally cold!
ReplyDeleteI have been scraping the frost off of the windshield most mornings. I'm ready to start "the countdown" with you, my friend.
Have a lovely weekend!

Icy here this morning, Susie. I haven't been out for the morning paper. The sidewalk is too icy for me to be brave enough to try it! We may have some warmer temps next week, too.
ReplyDeleteHave a good Friday! xo Nellie
I am ready for Spring. We are under a winter advisory this a.m. Ice and southerners don't mix well!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a safe and cozy weekend.
We had snow, too...so pretty! And the temps are up to 22 degrees! Yay!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane
55 days, thats a good thing!
ReplyDeleteI'll send some of our warm miami sunshine your way. We are having virtually no winter here. It is 80 every day.
ReplyDeleteWe had glorious sunshine yesterday and ice today. It's beautiful on the trees and bushes but I hope it doesn't stick around too long. Susie, I pray while I'm walking too, but I had to stop praying while I'm driving--after running 2 red lights!
ReplyDeleteWe had a dusting of snow this morning. The sun is shining now and the snow is gone. Ice in the forecast.
ReplyDeleteOh, man you counted. You are ready!! Sending some sunshine from California!!

Hi Susie, I have enjoyed catching up on some of my reading tonight. We didn't get any snow in our area. but it sure was cold for a few mornings and heated seats in the car felt good. Have a wonderful weekend. Hugs and Prayers from Your Missouri Friend.
ReplyDeleteOh-I would love to have a bit of your weather- we are sooo very cold here. We did get 4 or 5 inches of new snow and it is pretty-but I would much rather see Spring greens- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteWow, Susie, I am lamenting because it's raining on the weekend, it looks so cold where you are. I always look forward to spring no matter what the temperature is. It's my favorite time of the year. Stay warm and healthy.
ReplyDeleteI pray when I walk, too. But first, I try to walk and just listen for God to speak to me. It's a nice time to be together.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog.
