Today's Center Piece....

I have this plastic tablecloth I use daily....but not when I have company:):) Here's the little plaid covered books I got at Horton's and the cardinal. The ornaments in the glass and cheese dome are vintage. I got them on a trip to the treasure mart in Kokomo. I make up center pieces and change them out every few days. Mostly because I have too much stuff.
 I got a bit of wrapping done yesterday and some cleaning.....then The Neanderthal (Ted) decides to cleans the fire place, of some very hot embers. So he smokes up the house and leaves me a pile of dust on the hearth. Oh isn't there something he could do outside ? LOL
Well today is a new day , that's all in the past. I tell  Ted to bury hot ashes in the garden area. I do not trust that a wind would not blow embers around... have to be safe. Hope all of you are warm and safe. Our temperatures are very low.  Take care of family, neighbors and animals, when it's like this. xo

    What a cute centerpiece, Susie. Love all the vintage bits and pieces you have. I hear you- that sounds like a man! Sounds like something MyHero would do-and I would be tempted to bury HIM in the garden along with the ashes!

    I'm glad to hear other ladies have so much stuff, I mean treasure we can change center piece on the table every day LOL
    It's cold here this morning also 5 degrees warming up to have freezing rain & snow tomorrow( Missouri)

    Very pretty, and I love that cardinal. That reminds me that I've not seen cardinals at my feeder this year. :-(( Sounds like Ted is a wonderful help! ;-)

    I love table clothes but I don't use them because the kids always manage to pull them off or side ways or something... I love your decorations.

    Oh yes..I like changing my dinning room table center piece. One for each season and the tablecloth and candles matching. Makes sitting at the dinning room table special while eating.

    I love your idea of changing the table often, I can identify with the too much stuff! But it does make it easy to swap things out, LOL! The red plaid is just perfect.

    oh gosh so sorry about the dust embers stuff. i used to have that in podunk before we switched it to a gas one. believe me i loved that!
