We went into town yesterday for a few groceries....you all know how much I love that. I do love our courthouse. Look at this pile of leaves, can't believe the city hasn't sucked those up...we have a huge vacuum that they drag along the curbs to get the leaves.
The city park is decorated. The decorations are from donated Christmas lawn displays. But none of those air filled things. They would never last...because sometimes mean people tear up the displays. Sad.
Going back to town from the opposite direction. I have not seem many decorations outside yet. Hope all of you are getting into the swing of the holidays. I am still tweaking my tree.:) Have a great day everyone.
What a beautiful town, and is this where we might find Horton's?
ReplyDeleteIt is looking very festive there, Susie! xo Nellie
ReplyDeleteOh pleeezzzz, don't burst my bubble and tell me there are mean people in Tipton! ; )
ReplyDeleteYou know how much this city girl loves seeing images of your sweet town.
Thank you for your wonderful comment yesterday, Susie!

I love that clock tower! We live out in the country, so we have to make our own decorations. I'm hoping to get a tree up (outdoors) on the porch yet today - and lights. I like the garland and bows on the fence. Looks pretty. That's what I love about Christmas. We can stretch it out throughout the entire month of December and pretend we don't have January, February, and March following! LOL
ReplyDeleteCute town. We used to live in a small town. 16,000 in the county. The main drag still had flashing stop signs. But then that was 26 years ago...not sure now...some day we will go back for a visit and see our old house. :)
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are great. I love seeing decorations all over the country. I think a Christmas tour of America would be fun, and I could stop off and visit my blog buddies.
ReplyDeleteYou live in a beautiful town. It's fun to get photos when you drive around. It gives us an idea of where you live and what you see every day. I'm kind of doing that in my post tomorrow! lol Sweet hugs!
ReplyDeleteSusie,
ReplyDeleteI love your beautiful little town. It just screams quaint and cozy a step back in time. Love it.
