Birthday Lunch...

Here I am with my sister Pam.   . Today is Pam's birthday. I had her come out to lunch, quick notice.  Can't you tell by my hair...totally flat and pinned back.
This is Pam with our sister, Brenda. Pam had just taken Brenda to get a shot of cortisone in her spine...yikes.  Brenda has bad osteoporosis.  Pam called me as they were ready to leave the doctor's office . I told her to bring Brenda and come by , I would fix them some lunch. It was ever so quick, Sloppy Joes (untidy Josephs , is what my girls would call them ) and chips.  Then we watched our soap opera Young & Restless, while Brenda complained about it. LOL.  So we told her to read the paper, we had some catching up to do.  Some times it's still fun to boss them around. LOL....Just kidding, they have heads like rocks now....won't listen to a thing. :):) I am glad they don't have computers to read this blog, they would want to kill me.
While my sisters were here, we watched  3 sets of bluebirds flying around the bluebird houses...I just hope they stay around here. It was fun to watch them, but I did not get pictures.
Hope all of you have a wonderful weekend. It's raining here, hope not for long.  Wishing all of you a blessed day. XO

    1. Gert, I try to tell my sister that she will only be allowed so many cortisone shots. They help her, but then she will over do, because she feels better. In the photo you can see she is shorter than Pam, but she used to be taller . Some times I watch the Bold/Beautiful too. Miss Stephenie on there. Blessings for a great weekend. xoxo,Susie.

  10. You look cute as a button. I wish I could pin my hair back. All I can do is spike it and that I do when I can't or don't want to wash.

  14. Susie, how fun you got to spend time with your sisters. You cracked me up with the story about the three of you. I bet it was a sight to see the bluebirds flying around the birdhouses. I just bought Jess the cutest bird house for Easter. It is a school with a real bell, and I thought it was perfect because she teaches elementary school. :~)
