Some Excitement...

Sunday afternoon, my daughter Angie took me to see this play. Moon Over Buffalo. We had a lot of laughs. Everyone in this play did very well.  It was a bit too adult for children , in places.  Parents were warned in advance... yes, I saw a fourth grader there.
This is what's happening here in our yard. The weeping cherry tree is blooming. I love the pretty pink of this tree.
Our flowering crabapple is budded out but not bloomed yet. It has a dark blossom .
This is the redbud tree. Ours is a bit sparse in appearance, but I do love it.
You can see it leans away from the west winds. I just do not want to cut any branches off. I do trim the lower areas. As you can see today is a pretty day, clear skies. I will say, it is chilly out this morning. The temperature is to be 61 this afternoon, that will be nice.
Wishing all of you a good day. Please remember those in need of prayer today.  XO

  1. I've never heard of this play before. It sounds like a good way to spend some time with your adult daughter.

We are cooler here than the past several days, and I love it! Sunshine and blue skies just can't be beat!

    1. Viv, Go to the big store at the end of spring or summer...you can get deals on trees then. You will love it. We have cut down many trees, that were dead or dying..so I always want to plant a new one. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

    1. Bee, Ted and I used to be VIP's at the Beef & Boards theater in Indianaplois. We would see 6-7 plays a years ..it was a dinner theater so we had some good food too. I honestly miss their coffee. I think it's better than on the cruiseships..so you know it has to be good. We started seeing some plays over and over, till we decided to drop our yearly membership. So now I go with my daughter to local plays given by community theaters. Once our group gave Fiddler On The Roof...and it was better than the Beef & Boards production...so to me that was impressive. I know it's not Broadway, LOL...but I love it just the same. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

  7. I liked that play...Our Cherry and Magnolia blossoms were destroyed by some heavy rains..More today and temps in the 30's at night for the next 3 days..guess I'd best bring my Geraniums in..

    1. Missy, I had never heard of this play before. But it was very funny. I know what you are saying about bringing plants in .. I will cover mine of the porch . It is so chilly today, I am cold. I may build a fire later. Here's hoping we get our nice spring weather back. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

  8. Don't you wonder why parents take their kids to things that they are pre-warned are adult? My granddaughter has a friend that has been watching R-rated movies since she was 7 or 8. She also stays alone after school and all summer while both parents work and has since she was 6. And they wonder why she is "aggressive" at school!

Your trees are lovely, Susie. We woke up to snow this morning and it has been snowing off and on all morning- xo Diana

    1. Diana, I think children can be allowed to grow up way too fast. It's no help to the child. I have always said , let children be as children during grade school years. We all have to grow up soon enough. I think the wind will strip all the blooms before I can even enjoy them. Snow, oh no...I do not want to see any more of that stuff till Christmas...then it can melt the next day. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

    1. Blondie, I used to read all the time. But since I retired, I just have a tough time making myself read. It has to be some very gripping from the first page. Oh last year I read a romance...oh my gosh,. it just never got to be a good story..but I could see it made into a Lifetime Movie. LOL. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
