The Park....

I went through our park yesterday. Stopped and got some photos. I am so proud of the way our park looks. So clean.
I see now that the brambles have been removed from the creek's edge.  You can see we have had a lot of rain, the creeks up.
This is the walking path along the creek, it goes to the nursing home and hospital, that are near the park. It will take you to 4-H road to our fair grounds.  Our golf course is across the creek from our park.
I had to get a picture of this new water fountain near the toddlers playground.  The toddler's playground has a fence around it., so moms can relax a bit.Has a swing for mommies to sit on. The equipment in the background of this photo is sitting in about a foot of mulch...protection for falling kids .
   Have a fun day. XO

    1. Hi Diane, I'm late getting back. I think the fellow that is over the park's dept.is a hard working man. He seems to take pride in what all has been done since he's the boss. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

    1. Hi Linda, I love walking in the park. There's a path all the way around, and the one that goes along the creek to 4-H road....where the fair grounds are. Our hospital, nursing homes, golf course, park, and swimming pool are all in this area. Plus the boy scout cabin and historical building. Across the road to the east are the schools and all the fields. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

  7. Oh I am eager to get out and take some photos. Ya know we say some things differently around here. A water fountain is a bubbler. A milk shake is a frappe. I think there could be a blog here!
Very nice pics! One thing we have a lot of around here are parks. If the weather cooperates I might go out on Wednesday and get a few after my errands.

    1. Dana, I like that the toddler part is fenced so the little ones can't run from mommy so quickly. Plus they can get a tissue wet and wash little hands and faces, at the fountain. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

  12. One of our parks looks pretty because they use reclaimed water to keep it green. The State Park is dry, brown, dusty . . . It makes me sad!

    1. Carol, Thank God for people who will reclaim water for the use of all. There may have to be new designs in parks out west. Praying for you all to get rain each month. Hope you are feeling and doing well now. xoxo,Susie

  15. Parks are womderful places!! I only have two car seats in my car so I haven't taken the quads to a park here yet. Amber takes them all the time! I did notice our local petting zoo is open soon. I tore out the announcement from the paper and put it on the fridge. Hopefully Amber can bring the kids over and I can meet them there with a picnic lunch. It's the same park that I used to take Amber when she was a little girl.
I love how you love the simple pleasures of life. A park. A path. A pretty stream. It really IS the simple things that give us so much pleasure!!
