This Year's Ending......

We got this snow...not much, but it just won't go away. Too cold for any melting. Today is another below freezing day. Five in a row. Brr, those nice days had me so spoiled.  Granddaughter Sierra had to fly back home and daughter Kathy flew to Seattle , for time with her son and his wife.
Sierra's flight was canceled and she had to reschedule So when she made plans for another flight, she was at the airport when her aunt Kathy arrived for her flight out. So they had some dinner together at the airport.  Sierra was flying to Tampa. Lucky girl.
Kathy was flying to Seattle, complete opposite ends of the U.S.  Kathy in her coat  at the beach , in Washington.
Here's Luke and Max in their  dinosaur PJ's and new ball caps. But max put some sunglasses on and Luke is studying that look. LOL.
Here they are dressed for their Christmas day. We all had wonderful Christmas celebrations with many different family gatherings. We had our big family gathering on the 17th , this year, so most of us could be there. Only Brock's family was absent due to Brock and Layla being sick.
Playing with my phone's photo adjusting. I just had to show Luke's pretty eyes. Both boys have these dark blue eyes.  I love being around the children and enjoy hearing them talk or try to and laugh.
I hope all of you had a blessed Christmas with your loved ones and friends. I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year, filled with good health and much happiness.  If you make a list of resolutions , let "be kind" be one of those on your list.  Hugs to all.

    1. Hi Jettie, Thank you for the kind words, I do love all our family, especially those little babies. I do not care for snow now....never really did. It was always work for me. Work to get to work..now it's shoveling to clear paths and some times the wind covers it back over. So this farm life is work. :) Blessings to you for a great new year, stay safe. xoxo, Susie

  11. Cute kids Susie. I'm glad you and your family had a good holiday. Yeah we got a bit of snow a few days ago. It's a pain but the bitter cold is very tough to deal with. Oh well it is New England and this has happened before.

    1. Paul, I hate the bitter cold, it's not safe to venture far in it. We got more snow and the wind will be picking up....doesn't sound very good. Glad I had no plans for partying. Blessings to you, stay safe if you go out. xoxo, Susie

  16. Pretty snow! Enjoyed all the pictures and glad you liked my post on the plantation. We've spent many hours hiking the old plantations around here and so glad you were able to tour some when you visited! did you get to go inside Drayton? Do you have New years eve plans? How cold is it there?

    1. Debbi, We Have no plans to party for our new years...I am glad about that we got 6 more inches of snow last night. Good time to stay in. I truly enjoyed the plantations and all the history and the grounds. I do not recall if we went inside Drayton...but we did go inside Magnolia. Saw a measure scales on a door facing, where they measured their children. Wishing you a very happy new year of good health, xoxo, Susie

  18. What a lovely Christmas and what great family times. Christmas was a lot of fun, but it honestly feels long ago. I spent the rest of the week resting up and am mostly over what I am pretty sure was the flu. Staying in and enjoying my cozy apartment today.

  19. Luke and Max are so precious, and they seem to be very close. And Luke's eyes! - Oh, what a pretty picture that is, Susie. It was nice that you saw all your family at Christmas. I always have a full house at Christmas time too. And Francesca was my special gift this year. She smiles all the time and warms my heart. I'm lovin' all the snow pictures, Susie, and thank you for sharing them. I tell you, one of these days, I hope to have a white Christmas. : )

    love, ~Sheri
