Who Doesn't Love Santa...?

Oh dear, dear, it's Luke...Apparently he does care for the Jolly Old Man at all. Max isn't  looking none too happy himself. I just received this photo I will get the story soon.
The boys aunt Emma , when she was small adored Santa. Of course she is holding a candy cane too. :):)
My sister Pam and I , just loved our time with Santa, about 5 years ago. LOL. My first Santa visit ever. Although once I saw a Santa walking down the street and I rolled the car window down and yelled that I wanted "diamond" earrings. LOL That was a hundred years ago. Or so it seems.
Wishing all of you a Merry Christmas , filled with joy. XO

  2. I think many children are scared of Santa...or Father Christmas, as we call him in England. Could be the beard ?
    Love the pictures.
    Merry Christmas dear friend.

I had never had a picture with Santa, sis and I laughed about how good he smelled and we told him we loved him. LOL. That is why we are laughing so hard. We were too big for his lap. LOL. Being raised poor, I never believed in Santa. I knew I surely was not so bad as to never get but one wee gift. :) Was I ?? LOL Blessings to you and yours for the best Christmas. 9. So cute about you yelling your request to Santa from your car! lol
As Karen says above in her comment, her children never cooperated with Santa for photos! I don't recall ever visiting Santa myself.
Susie, I appreciate your blog friendship very much. It is a delight to visit with you. May the Lord richly bless you and yours this Christmas. xo

    1. Mildred, It paid to yell at Santa , I did get the earrings, they were small but real. I have no idea where they are now. I may have given them to my oldest daughter. Your sister said her children didn't like Santa , those times make for sad photos. That was my first visit to Santa, we just loved him. We still laugh about how good he smelled. Not like cookies, but like D&G cologne.
Mildred, I have always loved blogging with you. You have a kind heart. Every Christmas of my very childish days, I remember begging in my prayers, for toys, clothes, or food...as I aged I knew that the real gifts in live is love, friends ,and family...and when it's all together is the best gift ever. I am truly blessed. Wishing you and your husband the best Christmas and a new year of good health and happiness. xoxo, Susie

  10. Hi Susie, such a beautiful post making special memories visiting Santa! I remember visiting with my dad as a child and really enjoying it. This became our yearly tradition together. Pics were always taken and when he passed away I found the last one from 3 years old in his wallet. He carried it the rest of his life.
Thank you for visiting my once a month post and your kind comment. It was a blessing to see you. Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas and many blessings in the new year xo

    1. Debbi, Ted is very good in his wood working. We have made gifts every year for the children. Trays, salt/pepper grinders, photo boxes. Poor babies should not have to sit with Santa. Too sad. Blessings for a Merry Christmas. xoxo, Susie

  13. Merry Christmas, Susie! Love all the Santa pictures. My sister and I went to see Santa every year from the time we were born until we were about 9 and 10. I always had a small smile on my face and my sister was always crying. LOL. The last picture I had taken with Santa I was in my 30s. Santa asked me what I wanted and I said a Porche. Ha, ha. He told me that was too expensive. Fun memories.
