Sneak Peek At Horton's....

Mr. Horton made a new checkout counter in a new spot of the store. I love this old rugged corrugated tin and wood look. There's been some changes in the store. I did see that the greenhouse was full of pansies and violas.
Like this rural vamped chandy.   Looks good with the farm industrial décor.
There are three of them over the new checkout.
I like this sweet gardening corner. Lots of running rabbits on a dowel rod and base.
Tubs of faux tulips.  Wreaths , watering cans, and stars.  Walking thru the store makes you wants new things for spring.  You know what I am saying ladies. Some times we  something new and fresh to brighten up the porch or gardens.
This is perfect for a window sill garden.
I know this old buffet has been used many, many times in the store.
This shelf is packed full of goodies. It's in the ladies wear section. I always love seeing the old brick wall as a backdrop for displays.
Plenty of mugs, platters, and canisters. I saw lots of creamer cows.  I want to go back tomorrow to Horton's Spring Open House.  I asked my daughters to go , waiting to hear from them.  I will post more photos and what I bought , maybe tomorrow.
Sunshine today and very cold. We may get some ice tonight or Saturday. Hope not...too risky for losing power.  Enjoy your weekend. XO

    1. Hi Mildred, I was happy to see all the pretty flowers in the greenhouse at Horton's. I did not go inside the greenhouse, but could see the flowers thru the glass. I am ready to buy some and plant them...but must wait till it's truly spring. Blessings for a fun weekend, xoxo, Susie

    1. Boston Boy, Horton's is a family owned store...funny the owner's name is Tim...like the Tim Horton coffee shops of Canada. The whole Horton family is good as gold. So helpful and kind. I buy there to help in anyway that I can to keep them going. It started as a hardware store. Now it is that, plus custom blinds, and decorating items and women's clothing. Oh and the greenhouse full of flowers and plants. Wish you could bring Arlene and go with me. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

  7. Your Horton’s remind me of Magnolia! They have a similar checkout area in the silos. So much eye candy at Horton’s! I would love to go there and always enjoy your pics of the place. Does it smell good, too?

They have those pricy cotton bowls too. :) I was so happy to see all the pansies and violas thru the greenhouse glass. Gotta get some of those. :):) Hope you and LD are doing well on the ranch and getting your energy back. Blessings, love you both, xoxo, Susie

    1. Sandi, There's an antique place in the town north of here and they had a brick wall with works of art in the big restroom...I liked it so well. I painted bricks on my bathroom wall. I may have to post about that. :) I love exposed brick as an inside wall.Blessings, xoxo, Susie

    1. Judy, I have seen the tin on sides of kitchen islands, along with old pallet boards. Or you could use it on bulkheads as trim. Show us on your blog if you use yours. We always like to see each other's decorating. Well I know I do. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
