Here are my bird churches. They look so cold..brrr. This is a sweet little saying my brother just sent to me.
The nicest place to be is in someone's thoughts, the safest place to be is in someone's prayers, and the very best place to be is in the hands of God...........I hold you in my thoughts and prayers. I pray God has you in his hands.
Here are some of my old friends...I have to say good bye. Good bye cookies, cakes, pies, and candy. I think I can still eat some fruit. This array of sweets was at my daughter's on Christmas day. I did not bring any home with me.Yippee...hey, that's a start for me. I'll have to eat fruits, nuts, and veggies....do they come in chocolate ?? I wish all of you a wonderfully blessed new year. I feel so bless having met you in this crazy blogger world. Beautiful people with good hearts and love to share. Thank you!!! Love and hugs from me:):)
The bird churches are adorable. We are enjoying watching our birds right now. We have a flock of goldfinches in our feeders....2 doves on the ground and some blue birds staying close. I can't eat sugar...I feel bad when I do...so I rely on Russell Stover sugar free chocolate. It has calories though! lol Happy new year!ReplyDelete
what a wise brother you have!ReplyDelete
I just love the saying that your brother sent to you. It is perfect. Your little church bird houses are so sweet. Nel is painting me a castle bird house, and I can't wait to see it. Can you imagine, a castle bird house? I hope the new year brings you much peace and joy, and I am so glad to have met you this year, Susie.

Those church birdhouses in the snow are great! And your brother's saying. And I completely echo your sentiments about the blogging world. Blessings to you in 2013.ReplyDelete
My twin son use to build bird houses I would have loved to have a church or two in my garden..ReplyDelete
I loved that saying from your brother too!!
May the new year be the best EVER!!
I'm giving up sugar too Mom. I even made a DRs appt for next week to get a complete checkup to make sure I can handle exercising.ReplyDelete
What beautiful little churches, they made me smile :)ReplyDelete
Yes, I'm going to try better and give up the candies and cookies, but oooh it's the bread I can't seem to do without.
Raised in my grandma's bakery is my excuse :))
Happy New Year my sweet bloggy friend.
oh how sweet!ReplyDelete
wishing you a very happy new year!
Happy New Year from a new follower! Love your bird house churches!ReplyDelete
Happy and healthy to you, too, Susie. My old friends will get left behind, at least for today, and my goal is to eat much healthier in 2013. We'll cheer each other on!ReplyDelete
I put a bunch of cake-yummy, delicious cake-down the garbage disposal this morning. It was wasteful, but I am sooooo weak. Here's to healthier eating! BTW-love what you said about chores on my blogpost this morning.I feel the same way....and am a procrastinator to boot. Have a great day!ReplyDelete
The bird churches are so pretty.ReplyDelete
A very Happy New Year to you too.
It really isn't that hard to give up sweets. After the first few days you don't miss them. Happy New Year.ReplyDelete
O! I feel your pain about saying goodbye to those old friends....ReplyDelete
I said my farewells last night, and I miss them already... :-)
Thanks for your nice compliment on my buffet...
