Snow And Sunshine....

This is Ted with the snow blower on Saturday morning.. he cleaned the drive and I cleaned the porch and the drive, a little more. What a waste of time that was. The wind picked up later and blew the snow right back.
This is some of the snow drifts. Ted has used the snow blower to even make a path to the neighbor's goats. Yes, I feed them all our peelings from fruits and veggies. The sun is shining today. I am so thankful for it.  I find that if I can have sunshine, I can deal with the cold long months of winter.  I have the tree decorations done and now Ted must put the tree in it's box , and back into the garage attic. Hope you are having some wonderful sunshine.  xoxo

  2. Hi Susie and thanks for coming over from Debby's - lovely to meet you. Those pics of your snow look lovely but of course its nice when you don't have to go out in it! We've had nothing but rain for weeks so looking forward to the first signs of Spring. Sending you very best wishes for 2013 from across the pond.

  3. You have snow and we have pine straw. Joe rakes it and it falls again and we cannot tell he raked. Notice I am not raking but I usually do. Just not feeling good. I need sun too. If it rains a lot I begin to feel "blue." Happy New Year Susy.

  10. We did the same thing today, Susie. It is such a chore to put all of the decorations away and not too much fun. It used to make me really sad. Now, I just look at it as closing out the year and awaiting what God has for us in the New Year. Blessings to you this 2013.

  11. No snow here, and we did have a little sunshine. We usually leave the Nativity set out until Epiphany. I believe tomorrow sounds like a good day to deal with the tree - and the Christmas china! xo Nellie

  14. It seems strange to see all the snow....it's just wet and windy here! It must be so frustrating having to clear away the snow and have it blow straight back. If it snows even a little here it's unusual. The schools etc close with only a dusting....the hills make it difficult and our local councils are not set up for dealing with it. They barely manage to put salt down when it's icy!! I do wish you and yours all the best for 2013. Joan
