I Need Sunshine...
I wanted to post this picture of some flowers...cause I am needing some sunshine. Today is just a blah day. I have cooked, cleaned and done 3 loads of laundry..zzzzz. I have boxed up two totes of Christmas decorations, one more to go plus the tree ornaments, some outdoor things...then my Christmas is done for this year. I like carrying around the happy feeling of having been with my daughters and their families. Teddy Bear is in the shop , doing a major clean up from Santa taking it over. Where are those elves when you need them?? I hope all of you out there have a good day with good memories. xoxo

What a cheery photo for the beginning of the winter season, thanks for sharing it!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you are working far too hard, Susie.:-) Sit down and put your feet up!:-)
ReplyDeleteOur company just left a couple of hours ago, and I have already had a phone call of an activity I need to put on the calendar for next week! So - the New Year seems to be filling up already.

Love these colorful blossoms! It is gray in GA today. I've been making a casserole this afternoon. A ONE DISH MEAL that took MANY pans to prepare!!!
ReplyDeleteI am all for one pot dinners. So easy. What happened that you needed many pans??xo,susie
DeleteWe had sunshine today and it felt great! I still need to box up a bunch of my stuff! I've done a little! Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteGray, cloudy and cold here. I enjoyed the photo of the flowers - that's what I'd like to see too
ReplyDeleteSusie-You are way ahead of me with taking Christmas down. We are leaving ours up for one more week because the little kids will be here a couple of times yet. I hope you have a wonderful weekend. I had baby boy all day today as he had a bad cough and Mom/Dad didn't want him in daycare. He is such a good little boy that he smiles and gurgles even when he is not feeling good- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteIt is sunny here. Delightful, in fact. The tourists are loving it!
ReplyDeleteYes, no sunshine in a few days, now it is snowing.
ReplyDeleteSeems as soon as Christmas is over we are ready for spring!
Get ready for many more blah days...spring is 81 days away! I feel like I just put the decorations up so they are staying for a little while longer. Actually I hate putting it all away and stall for time! lol!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane
Wow Susie you are a busy lady, we are still enjoying our Christmas cherry lights etc. But,I know how nice it is to have it all put away for another year! Thanks for that pretty pot of flowers! With all our snow it was a welcome site!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Gert
Hi Susie, In reading your previous post you got what went through Arkansas and up. We got some but not a lot. We had a half inch of rain before ours started so needless to say we had ice under the snow. Side streets are still a mess. I have so enjoyed seeing your family and thank you for sharing them with us. Have a wonderful weekend and the sun is trying to peek out, but I don't know if it is going to or not. Hugs and Prayers from Your Missouri Friend.
