In The Yard.....

Here's Emma fairy garden....The little flowers look wilted. The bed it sits in was full of weeds I had to pull. Still more to go.
This is the tree trash from storms and all the weeds I pulled. I see where the lawn mowing Teddy Bear has gotten too close to the bricks.  Grrrr.
This is one of my hydrangeas. It's only about a foot tall. But it bloomed. I hope it grows much bigger.
This is the other one, I only have two. :) It bloomed also and has a few flower heads. I am still clinging to hopes of a couple beautiful plants from them.
Rain and clouds today. A gloomy weekend is forecasted here.  I have to go to the grocery and just hate that to start with, but in rain double yuck. Hope all of you are enjoying  a wonderful weekend.  XO

    1. That fire pit is just for burning limbs and yeard waste. But I can see a plastic pot in it and I will not burn that. Hope you have a fun weekend, xoxo,Susie

    1. Bee, I knew acidic soil makes blue...I saw a hydrangea once with every color on it. This year if that plant blooms like that I am getting a photo. Hope your day is fun. xoxo,Susie

    1. Mary Alice, I heard of other losing theirs. Some times if a thing still gets it's leaves for the taking in of nutrients the plant will live. xoxo,Susie

    1. Oh I saw those sweet boots too. I usually pick up a small figurine at goodwill for the kids to use in their gardens. Emma put a Barbie doll in this one and after being out all winter, her hair is falling out. LOL. I'll have to find her a couple things. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

    1. Laura, I try not to cut two many flower heads off my plants for fear of hurting it. I have had some before and they have died. These two I have now at least are trying to live. xoxo,Susie

  9. I really like the cute fairy garden. I am trying to keep my hydrangea alive that we planted this spring. I don't have much luck with them, but I keep trying to get one going!

    1. Cheryl, I had always thought I would have a huge hydrangea with all the beautiful flowers I could pick...it has not happened yet. These two are hanging on longer than some I have had. I hope yours lives. xoxo,Susie

  10. We are having a thunderstorm and lots of rain right now. We have had a time with the rain and mud this summer. Not good timing with the house on the market. Love Emma's garden and your flowers. Hope the bad storms stay away from you...you don't need any more. Hugs

    1. Debby, I know you probably feel like tearing your hair with the house on the market and rainy conditions. You feel as if you have to keep it clean, for showings. I hope it sells and you get a good price. Emma's garden needs more flowers and something from the goodwill.LOL> Blessings, xoxo,Susie
