Birds & Flowers....
My sisters and I had a good time at lunch. Barbie did well but grew tired. I took her home so she could rest. Then Pam and Brenda came out to sit and talk. It's pleasant to just sit out on the porch and talk. Maybe have a cool drink. We all plan on a day next week to just spend time one on one. I will take Barb to lunch. Pam will come and we will watch our soap opera together. Brenda and I may go to the junk store. Then I'll go have a coffee with Jeanie. Jeanie wasn't feeling well enough for lunch yesterday. We missed her.
I hope all of you are enjoying some good weather. Let's keep our friends in our thoughts, that are having way too much rain right now. That is scary. Bless you. XO

I loved all your flowers. Yesterday my wife & I went out and bought many different types of perennials to put in the ground around out lot. I also different types of flowers to put on my deck in the backyard. I love roses and have at least 12 different rose bushes. I guess I'm boring you with that. Time to go. Have a wonderful Saturday Susie. See ya.ReplyDelete
Paul, You are so good at gardening with that many roses. I am trying to fill our flowerbeds with perennials...so there less work in spring. I love when our lawn and gardens are looking their best. But I am losing interest the older I get. One day, I see myself with one flowerpot. LOL. Blessings to you and yours, this holiday weekend, xoxo,SusieDelete
Susie, Your birds and flowers are lovely and it would be very peaceful to sit and enjoy while talking and enjoying an iced tea. Blessings to you and yours. xoReplyDelete
Mildred....when it's so calm and restful out here. I try to take it all in....but I miss living in town. So I try to enjoy the things that I can't have in town...peace and quiet. LOL. Blessings to you dear friend, xoxo,SusieDelete
It must be fun having a bouquet of sisters! I have only one, but we know how to have some fun. Your "blue eye" looks a lot like my spiderwort. Must check that out. If I am not careful, it can get crowded out, too. Have a beautiful weekend. (I know what you mean about thinking good thoughts for those getting the truly awful weather.)ReplyDelete
Vee, Growing up who would think my sisters would actually be good friends. LOL I tell my daughter I had them , so I could have best friends. Ha. I love them so much. I Hope your weekend is nice and pleasant. It's been like a beautiful summer day here. Bless you, xoxo,SusieDelete

Your clematis is beautiful! And bird watching is so much fun. I love this time of year. Birds and blooms are two of life's simple pleasures!ReplyDelete

Thank you Cheryl. I wish you a wonderful weekend also. I do love all the beauty that is here for us . my mother was just always amazed at the hummingbirds. Blessings, xoxo,SusieDelete
What a blessing your large family is. And good for you taking time to be with all of them. Those sweet little birds.ReplyDelete
Hi Debby, Growing up, I thought my big family was a cruse, but we have proven to be there for one another.Hope you are doing well. Blessings, xoxo,SusieDelete
I love that all you sisters can get together and live close enough to be in each other's lives. So sweet. Love all your flowers. Have a great holiday week end.
Thanks Kris. I love doing things with my sisters. We each have different things in common. So there always some one to do something with. xoxo,SusieDelete
Those little birds remind me of wild canaries, such sweet colors.ReplyDelete
Sending healing wishes to your sister, I hope she continues to feel better.
Your flowers are gorgeous, Clematis is my favorite vine.
Have a wonderful weekend sweet lady.
Thank you Jo, for your good wishes. I still worry about my sisters. They have some health issues... Slowly they are trying to get on the health track. Hope you are well and enjoying your beautiful area. Blessings, xoxo,SusieDelete
The weather has been very nice overall. Today was gorgeous, a bit cool but that was ok. We have the 90's coming next week. It seems like someone just flicks a switch and turns the furnace way up!ReplyDelete
Boston Boy, we have had some crazy spring weather. The past two days have started chilly but warmed up nicely. I like sitting in the sun a short stretches. Yesterday, my sisters and I took a nice walk around their new neighborhood....which is where we lived many , many years ago. Blessings for a great holiday weekend, xoxo,SusieDelete
Susie, today I was at the park and I saw a few tiny birds gathering around a tree, and I thought they were hummingbirds but they were just small birds, not sure what kind. You must be thrilled every time you see one of those hummingbirds. They flutter about so quickly, I can never get a picture of them. But they are still my beloved bird.ReplyDelete
Susie, you are so lucky that you and your sisters get together often. I see my sister sometimes, but she lives in another town about 30 min. away, so it's harder for us to visit.
Have a beautiful day.
Susie, the clematis is beautiful and so is the other flower. I love the birds and keep forgetting to hang up the hummingbird feeder. Need to write that down. It's nice having the time to visit and relax with friends. Hope your weekend is lovely. ConnieReplyDelete
We try and try to attract hummingbirds but have not been successful - yet! We saw a few down on the ranch and when we go back next month we plan to take a feeder with us!ReplyDelete
Sisters are wonderful!!!! You and I make good 'soul sisters!!'
