Here's Savannah crafting a wreath . We do this on the cheap, a pizza box and paper back novel.
This is the finished product. A few sprigs of fake flowers and some ribbons. Savannah says she is taking this home for her room. :):)
With our craft newspapers still on the table, I get busy hemming her pants. Four pairs. Savannah's aunt Angie, came to take her swimming. Which is the most fun thing for Savannah, that girl loves to swim. So I got a wee break to make a post.
Hope all will be safe this weekend. Many storms headed our way. I don't mind if we have a mild storm but I hate the wild ones with winds, too much rain and the treat of tornadoes. Be safe. XO
So praying that the storms jump over Indiana, the east coast, and land in the Atlantic!
ReplyDeleteI have loved ones traveling in NY and Vermont right now!
Thanks for the well wishes for my Mom!

Yes, I hope the storms go on out to sea. I wish I were in NYC myself. :):) I love that town. Blessings for a lovely evening, xoxo,Susie
DeleteSounds like a fun day there. I hope we don't get the nasty storms, but it looks like it is going to track right through here. The air is so thick you can cut it with a knife right now and I really ache. Not good signs. Be safe.
ReplyDeleteTete, I went out on the porch to put things down out of the wind....you are right, the air does seem thick. Heavy. May God please watch over all of us. Blessings for a better Sunday. xoxo,Susie
DeleteIt turned out so pretty! Have fun this weekend! Happy crafting! Hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteThank you Diane. Savannah is back home , tired from swimming and watching her favorite Disney shows.:) I have one more pair of pants to hem. Blessings for a great and pretty Sunday, xoxo,Susie

Sheri, I think our worst of the rain is gone already...we did not get but the tail end of something...came and went fast. not enough rain. But at least no hail either. xoxo,Susie
DeleteWe are expecting some storms on Sunday. Hope yours are not too serious, Susie. xo Nellie
ReplyDeleteNellie, it's almost 10 and I think the worst is past us. I pray you do nt have bad weather. We just caught the tailend of something...not bad at all. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteI like the wreath. Kids love to swim don't they. Our neighborhood pool has been so cold. I have only been on once. Stay safe in the storms. Dreading them as they sound like they will be bad. hugs
ReplyDeleteDebby, If we could have swam growing up, we would have been prunes everyday.LOL I learned to swim at church camp when I was about 11. In one lesson ....I was so eager. One of the counselors, showed us how to float.. That is a valuable thing to know. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteI hope this comment finds you out of harm's way. Your granddaughter will long remember these fun times with you.
ReplyDeleteWe are having more pop up storms today even...but nothing too scary so far. :):) I do hope my g.kids remember me with love. xoxo,Susie
DeleteWhat a clever wreath!!! Making memories - priceless!
ReplyDeleteLinda, When I read blogs where someone remembers their grandparents....I feel sad, I have no g.parents memories. I am praying my own g.kids will remember our fun times and good talks and us old grandparents with love. xoxo,Susie
DeleteYou gotta keep 'em busy! Storms are headed our way today (Monday) in fact it's raining now. Finally a day to just kick back. Well there is the laundry and...
ReplyDeleteBoston Boy, Don't you some times wonder ,...who wore all these clothes. If I let laundry go 3 days...oooo, I pay for it. I guess it's good we don't have to drag our laundry down to some stream.LOL. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteWow...what a neat wreath...absolute gorgeous! I would like one of those! Clever idea!
