Petunias Plant Themselves....

There's some petunias growing in this flower bed and I didn't plant them.  I had some in this bed last year and they have returned on their own.  I planted the impatiens and about three petunia plants are blooming.....they look very nice. :):)
This Sunday Emma was to come over and decided to stay home since her daddy was off work. She's a daddy's girl. So it was just Savannah and I.  We had some good conversations and laughs.  Her mother will be picking her today. I have keep her laundry up while she's been here. I never send dirty clothes home with the grandkids. Their moms have enough to do. I will miss having any children here.
Hope everyone has a great Monday. Especially anyone still working. I remember all those Mondays at work, they could be rough.  XO

    1. We like to say we have 6 Saturdays and one Sunday, now that we are retired.... Sure doesn't feel that way for me. I had a career and now I am a maid. My husband is an occasional lawn mower. LOL. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

  3. Well though I am semi retired I still work 4 days a week but I have always had Mondays off. For me it's Tuesdays.
Wonderful picture of your flower bed.

    1. Boston Boy...I bet you love having Mondays off....even though your Tuesday may be as bad. I do hope you can truly enjoy your retirement, because I know you have worked hard for all those years....I also know it was not always easy...nasty customers, bigwig bosses, and getting to work in bad weather..I know. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

  4. Your flowers are so pretty! And it's nice to get a few 'volunteer' plants. I know you had fun with Savannah, she's such a sweetie! And will you please give Emma a BIG HUG and some kisses for me! I got the card today! It's perfect! And I will use it as a bookmark in the book I'm reading! She is so artistic and gave me a nice big smile...and even big eyes...just like me! I like the walking stick too. I'm ready to go hiking thanks to her! Sweet hugs for the nice note inside too my friend! Your hiking buddy, Diane

  5. Wouldn't it be nice if everything replanted it self every year? Think about it. Maybe not! Have a good week.

    1. Missy, I honestly would not have put any other plants in that bed if I had known those petunias would come back. LOL. It was a surprise. After last winter , some of my old standbys did not do as well. Hope you week is a good one. We are to have partly cloudy days in the 70's....I told Ted to turn the AC off...I am tired of hearing it. LOL . xoxox,Susie
