This is just one of the new containers of flowers through out our town. This one is at the park and I see there are new rose bushes also.
Near the entrance to the park, some hostas and impatiens. I like this color.
This little bed is at the corner of Jefferson and West streets. It at the main office of the Jim Dandy restaurant. That is a flowering crabapple tree, I find the root clump interesting. The city has painted all the hydrants fire engine red this year. They sure stand out.
Today and the next few will be like fall in our area. Today's high will be just in the lower sixties. I' m loving this. Wishing all of you a great day. XO
How beautiful and that RED is really red, isn't it? Enjoy your day and the nice weather! High 80s to around 90 for us this week! Sweet hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteThat red may make finding the hydrant quicker. Sounds like you are having a warm week. Hope you get to enjoy it. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteI just planted some hostas that I found on the clearance rack. Hope they do as well as those in the photo! The impatiens look good and gives the bed some great color. The tree is really interesting! Enjoy these cooler days!
ReplyDeleteCheryl, I am loving this cooler air. I have noticed when planting hostas, you only need a little bit for it to grow into a nice hosta in a couple years. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteYou can blame the cool weather on me. I've been asking God to "keep it cool" but no telling what August may be. Maybe summer will be in September and October. who knows.
ReplyDeleteAren't the flowers just beautiful this year, so vibrant!
Thanks for the cool weather prayers. LOL My flowers here aren't so hardy, but look okay. The ones down town are awesome. xoxo,Susie
DeleteHi Susie. I love all the containers of flowers that the towns put out every year..Happy Tuesday..Judy
ReplyDeleteHi Judy, I like these new containers the best. The last few years they were wooden boxes then some of those half barrels. So having all the container the same is good.xoxo,Susie
Deletep.s. Judy, I can see why you are proud of your daughter...she amazed me.
Your cooler weather sounds delightful. Your hydrants are so red, I thought maybe they were the "fake" kind for dogs to use!!!!!

I love all of the containers and flowers. You've already got the cooler weather and I'm so glad. We're expecting it in tonight. Enjoy.. Hugs, xo
ReplyDeleteHi Susie, This is our kind of weather girl.:):) I pulled some weeds today. Then swept the drives. Hope you can get out and enjoy when it's cooler. xoxo,Susie
DeleteDear Susie...I LOVED that red fire hydrant! I know it might sound nuts..but I wish they all looked like that. OUt here they are all yellow...an UGLY yellow. I wonder how much spray paint it would take to ...and how many nights I could do it with out getting caught! LOL
ReplyDeleteMona, You made me laugh. I can see you sneaking out with your spray paint.. Ours have been many different colors. Once year they were all painted up like revolutionary solders. It was I bicenntinal. xoxo,Susie
DeleteOnce again great pics. I'd like to see more of your city or town. It looks quite nice.
ReplyDeleteBoston Boy, It nice clean town. Not too big that is for sure. I should take a picture of the most interesting things in town. Our old library used to be one of the nice buildings. It was a Carnegie Design. You know like that can't even begin to compare to the buildings in your town :):) Love it. Hope you are having good weather, I can't believe it's in the 60's here. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteI like the red flowers, Susie! They make things look so cheerful! Those red fire hydrants make me smile.:-) xo Nellie
ReplyDeleteNellie, I think the fire fighters will be able to see those hydrants. I love the flower beds of the Jim Dandy Office and their restaurant catty corner for the office.xoxo,Susie
