You know you have to have pumpkin orange. This is from a time I went to an apple orchard west of Kokomo.
Here are some of the apple choices. My daughter got some apples from an orchard near her house and they were much better than these.
This is the wreath on our front door. I got this for a dollar at a sale once. Wish I had some more of these nice fake things...they last ! LOL
The is a tree in town on one of my walks. I just love seeing trees that seem to have the perfect color.
I love this tree also. This morning is cooler, or should I say colder than yesterday. It's 40 degrees this morning. Ted turned the furnace on, saying he was just too cold. I am not ready to have the heat on. I love not using heat or AC.....don't you. I love the windows open and sweet breezes. Too much of a breeze this morning.
Enjoy your Sunday. XO
I too like it when you don't need to have the air or heat on, I thought I smelled something familiar this morning, yes my husband had turned on the heat!!
ReplyDeleteLOL...that's what I thought this morning. I just hope it doesn't run all day. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteLove all the fallness in your photos...
ReplyDeleteI think we are going to the apple orchard here this coming week to see how the apples look.
You are right in that God just doesn't make grandkids ugly. lol
Have a blessed Sunday
I want to go to the orchard near my daughter's , those were the best tasting apples..they where crisp and had flavor.....something you rarely find in the stores.xoxo,Susie
DeleteCan't wait to hit the orchards and pumpkin farms next weekend when my vacation starts. Just love this time of year!
ReplyDeleteAnn, I am hoping we have us an Indian summer in Nov. That would be so good. I remember one year eating dessert on my mom's porch at Thanksgiving . xoxo,Susie
Deletebeautiful photos, I really like the wreath on your door, imagine a dollar, wow that was a super score!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you Laurie, Yes, It's not everyday you can get such a deal. Hope you are having a great day. xoxo,Susie
DeleteI also love your fall photos. It truly is my favorite time of the year. I turned on the furance too! It's cold here in MN!

Deb, Oh I know it's cold there...didn't it snow nearby? I love fall, just hoping for a bit warmer weather to be able to be outside and enjoy it. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

ReplyDeleteThank you Patty. I think after this cold things will really change. Hope so...also hope it gets warm again. xoxo,Susie

Bee, I had to laugh...I know that 65 is chilly for Floridians. You get to have flowers almost all year for pretty color. Hope your week is a great one. xoxo,Susie
DeleteThe trees are starting to turn around here. In about a week I'll be out there snapping pictures. I too love the colors of Fall.
ReplyDeleteHi Boston Boy...been wondering if you were back from your vacation. Can't wait to see your photos. It's been cold here today. ready for a bit more warmth. Blessings , xoxo,Susie
DeleteWow, what beauty in ur neck of the woods. Ours hasn't got that far along yet. I love going to the orchards this time of year. I haven't been able to get there this year and I miss it. Hope you have a nice week. Hugs. xo
ReplyDeleteSusie, I hope you get to the orchard when you can. It's nice to see all they offer. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
Deletep.s. Miss you.
October is my favorite month! I love all your fall photos, Susie. It's really cooled off here at night, too, and wimp that I am, I turned on the furnace. I hate to be cold! :)
ReplyDeleteCheryl, I can't belief how cold it is this early in the season. I had an extra throw on the bed last night. I am loving the colors. xoxo,Susie
DeleteWe get really really hot summers here, and the orchard up the road told us to wait until almost the first frost before picking up our apples...they said the cooler weather was perfect for them. So far we are waiting and waiting, because it's not really cool yet. Go figure.
ReplyDeleteJen
Jen, I have never heard that apple picking...but I know nothing of growing or picking them. These past 3 years have really been odd for growing apples next door. The neighbor had tons of apples last year and about 2 dozens only, this year. Super cold/wet winter last year. Frost early this past spring. xoxo,Susie
DeletePretty fall colors, Susie! You got a deal on that wreath...love the colors! We've had our heat on for awhile now...it's cold!
ReplyDeleteLinda, I am hoping for a warm up soon. I want to get outside and enjoy the colors. xoxo,Susie
DeleteSuch beautiful fall foliage. I love all the brilliant colors... Until the rain and wind gets to them. Love your pumpkin shot!
ReplyDeleteHi Judy, Yes, once it rains hard then it really takes the leaves down. Hopefully a big wind will blow them away and we will not have to rake. LOL. xoxo,Susie
DeleteThe trouble with those nice fake things is that you have to find a place to put them. I don't have in storage anymore so I had to give up all those kinds of things. I love the colors of fall. Happy fall!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful images,Susie. I love that wreath! You would never know it was fake from the picture. Hope you have a great week- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteOh Yes, Susie, I have to have pumpkin orange around this Autumn time. I have been looking for a white pumpkin for my porch, but when I see these orange pumpkins, it just makes me smile so BIG. The tree that you see on your walk is so pretty and shows all the colors of the season. And I have been craving apples. I can't wait to go to this apple orchard about an hour from our house.
ReplyDeleteHappy Fall, Susie.
love,
~Sheri
