Gray skies, but oh for a minute and a half I saw the sun . :) We actually had a thunder storm this morning around five o'clock.. It's be cloudy , windy and getting cooler. What is up with this crazy weather.??? At least the snow melted .
Getting things ready for this week. I have to throw together a couple crafts for my granddaughters , Emma and Savannah. I wanted them to help make the pine cone tree ornaments. I may pre-paint them and just let them glue on some sparkles and ribbons.
I am hoping my G.SIL comes to thanksgiving day dinner...I am going to beg that man to help me with my computer, to get it to load my pictures. He's a computer tech. The problem is they live so far that it's not convenient for me to drive there and back when he has time off work. I do not impose on the kids , because I know they are busy and have many things they have to do on their days off.
Well I better get busy here myself. Wishing you a great day. XO
Hi Susie,
ReplyDeleteIsn't this weather we are having crazy!!! We have winds and rain that is going to turn to snow later. Just wanted to wish you a wonderful week ahead and Happy Thanksgiving. Enjoy your family.
Kris
Kris, I think we get the same weather at times. I was thinking this 40 degree bit of weather ..waaa. it's probably our Indian Summer that I have longer for. What a let down. LOL. Wishing you and your sweet Terry a wonderful holiday with your children. xoxo,Susie
DeleteWoke me up!! I thought we were having a tornado. Hold on to something tight.
ReplyDeleteAnn, When my sister and I would walk into work together at times...if it was windy, I would say wait and let tie a string on you. LOL The thunder woke me this morning. Blessings for a great Thanksgiving. xoxo,Susie
DeleteWindy here too...fierce! We had our garbage cans at the curb for pickup and sure enough..bang! One blew over! Poor Tommhad to go back out and pick it up! We're having flurries too..with terrible wind chills. Winter is upon us!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Gert
Gert, I hate when the trash can blow over. The truck picks it up dumps it and slams it back done here....so if it sits out too long the wind usually gets it. This is some crazy weather. I was so hoping for an Indian Summer. Bless you and Tom, xoxo,Susie
DeleteAs I write this (around noon) it's actually quite mild and sunny in the 60's, but as the old saying around here goes, If you (or don't) like the weather wait a minute. Sunny and in the 60's today, tomorrow snow. Hey it's New England.
ReplyDeleteBoston Boy, You are talking like people in Florida. LOL. I know you get some monster weather at times. Just stay safe and drive carefully...do I sound like your bossy big sister ?LOL... Wishing you and your friend Arlene a wonderful thanksgiving. Bless you, xoxo,Susie
DeleteThe wind was fierce here last night. So scary. I'm glad it settled down for us and is a beautiful sunny day. You sound like a good mom-in-law. I hope he comes to dinner too and is able to help you.
ReplyDeleteOur wind is still blowing and it is to let up soon. I hope so. I am looking forward to Thursday. :):) Bless you, xoxo,Susie
DeleteVery windy here last night and early this morning. Breezy now ,balmy, temps in the 70s. Crazy weather. Have a nice Thanksgiving.Susie
ReplyDeleteMissy, Wow, 70 degree weather is a treat. Our weather does seem strange. Blessings to you and your little pets, xoxo,Susie
DeleteWe have a high wind advisory here until 4:00. That isn't long from now, actually. It seems to have calmed down a little. I could use an "in house" technology assistant.:-) Hope you are able to have someone give you the help you need. xo Nellie
ReplyDeleteNellie, I am hoping that young man comes to dinner. LOL. I really could use some help...but I refuse to go back to that computer bunch in town. Once bitten twice shy. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
Deletethats a very threatening sky in the photo, sounds like some fun crating will be at your house,
ReplyDeleteLaurie, we have had some unusual weather here. Cold, then mild, then wet, some snow and now super windy. Can't tell what season it is. LOL. Blessings to you and your family for a great thanksgiving day. xoxo,Susie
Deletethe wind really bothers me. a lot! living on the 19th floor it is very loud up here and when it blows for a very long time like it did a few days ago it makes me feel sad and unsettled. i'm glad it stopped! of course i had my windows washed wednesday and the wind came thursday, friday, and saturday making the salt slime cover them again. oh well.

bee, I bet it is a scary time with high winds that far up. I don't like the wind from the south because we have that big hickory tree ...it is goes so will the house. Then there a tulip poplar at one corner. Just different direction would mean a different situation. Right after I washed my windows it rained, a bird flew into the front ...always something, isn't it? Bless you, xoxo, Susie
DeleteThose are some ominous weather photos. Hope things have settled for now and that brighter skies are ahead.
ReplyDeleteHi sweet tea, Hope you are doing well. It dreary and cloudy here Tuesday. But cooler and not so windy. Blessings to you and yours for a great Thanksgiving. xoxo,Susie
