Ornaments.....

Putting my tree up today. It was up yesterday. But I am decorating it today.  This is my special ornaments for Chicago. One of my favorite towns.
This is my ornament from NYC.  Another of my favorite cities.  L.A. ,  Charleston , and Boston  are my other favorites.  How do we choose ?  I love many things about many towns.
This is one of my first ever ornaments. It's from the stone age when I was a teenager.  Those cave men were pretty crafty. LOL I love this angel.  Some times as I decorate , it's a trip down memory lane.  I don't just throw things on the tree, I enjoy a thought of when I got the ornament or who may have gotten it for me.
Got to get busy here. Enjoy this great day. It's going to be 40 degrees here. Well that's like springtime. May have to take a break from the tree and go out and hang the wreath on the railing.  Hugs for everyone.

    1. Hi Missy, I think I still do a tree, because there were many years growing up, that our family did not have one and I wanted one so badly. But honestly...since I can't seem to get my sisters to do anything at times...no one sees our decoration either. Kind of sad. xoxo, Susie

  5. Your angel ornament is so sweet, and holding up well after all these years. You should see my first ornament that I gave husband when we were first married. It's so old that it's falling apart haha. Have fun decorating the tree, Susie. I hope to get mine this weekend.

by the way, I've always wanted to go to Boston.

    1. Sheri, Hope you enjoy getting ready for Christmas. If you get a chance to go to Boston, by all means go...there is so much history there. When I went..my favorite part was boarding the U.S.S. Constitution and sitting in the North Church while a young college lad recited the midnight ride of Paul Revere. That was soul touching. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

  12. Love all your special ornaments. No tree for us this year. I gave most of my ornaments to my kids. Most of them were made by them anyway.
