This is a new snack food Ted has discovered. It works like microwave popcorn. Ted loves this snack, not me.
I can barely stand the smell. So while he popped this up for a snack, I went outside to walk about .
The sun was just going down. Got a shot through the bottom of the pines.
I walked around taking a few more photos. I walk up and down the driveways and the walkway to the shop and a strip out front on the road. I make a few laps around, then just walk the yard if it's not covered in snow . It gives me some fresh air and exercise. I love to be outside whenever I can. Some times I get so cold I am not out long. But I just need to go out and enjoy nature. oh and when I got back in the house, Ted's smelly snack was about gone. :):)
Wishing everyone a great day. The sun is out again this morning. I am all smiles. XO
That does not sound like a good snack for me either. Have a great day Susie
ReplyDeleteJapolina, I would never eat a pork rind of any kind...just nasty...even the thought. I did check out the lunchables on your site. Sounds good. xoxo,Susie
DeleteI bet your husband would like cracklin' cornbread.
ReplyDeletePeggy, That man of mine will eat anything spicy or hot. I know he does like cornbread. Hope you are doing well. Stay safe. xoxo,Susie
DeleteI bet your husband would like cracklin' cornbread.
ReplyDeleteYuk! They are so bad for you too...Love the picture of that building..Looks like it's on fire!! Happy Wednesday..
ReplyDeleteLOL..oh Missy that is exactly what I thought. No way would I ever eat anything like that. That's our shop/garage...I love all the sun reflections and shadows on it at that time of day. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteI wouldn't eat that either. I guess I'm a picky eater. Love the pictures of your outdoors.
ReplyDeleteHahaha. I am loving all you ladies comments on the rinds. LOL. Me either girl, no way, would I eat anything like that. What town is your library in? Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteWe are in the northern section of Philadelphia. I live in the northeast section. So I'm fairly close to work.
DeleteI would let that be a husband snack too. I love the time of evening when you took your walk and what lovely shots your captured.
ReplyDeleteWanda, I have been laughing about what bloggers are saying about that snack...so funny. That just would never pass my lips. I like spicy stuff some times. But I could never eat a rind. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteOh Susie, I live your photos..(even Teds snacks...not for me either---Tom & his sister like them. Uggg.) Usually that stuff is full of MSG, which makes me sick and pass out!!
ReplyDeleteI always loved to walk around like you. Even just up the street and back...hot or cold. Fresh air is soooo godd for you. Now I try to just stick my head out the door and breathe it into my lungs!! (Big deep breathes!!)
Blessings,
Gert
Gert, Ted loves anything hot and spicy. But those rinds almost make me want to be sick. LOL. I wish you could still go out and about like you would love too. I try to keep moving, so my arthritis doesn't freeze up my ankles. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteHaha about the snack! I have to leave the room when Mr. C. is making sausages. I can't stand the smell, it turns my stomach. In the summertime he makes them outdoors, thank goodness. Love the sunset reflections!
ReplyDeleteJudy, There are things I will never eat. If I saw how things were make I would never be able to eat. LOL. Oh yes, that does sound like an outside thing. I like getting out at sunset and walking. I usually talk with God as I walk. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteWell! I've never seen a snack like that one! It has been created just for Ted, I can tell. xo Nellie
ReplyDeleteOOO....we love pork rinds to the moon and back...reminds me of an olden post that I might repost....:)
ReplyDeleteBJ, You are the first lady that has said you like rinds. LOL. These are kind of flat and when they microwave they puff up and make a kind of crackling sound. Ted got these at the dollar general store. So maybe you could look for some. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteSusie, can you believe that I used to love pork rinds? Haven't had them in awhile though. Oh, I love nature too, and it's been too cold to walk around here too, but I am hoping to go to the lake this weekend. That is such a pretty picture of the sun through the trees, Susie.
ReplyDeleteHave a good rest of the week.
love, ~Sheri
Sheri, I just have always thought of you as a very healthy eater. LOL Ted says these pork rinds are delicious...but he likes smelly foods. :):) Thank you for always visiting. Glad you like the sunset. Blessings for a nice trip this weekend. xoxo,Susie
DeletePork Rinds and Sunshine? Wasn't that a John Denver hit?
ReplyDeleteWould you like any snow?
Boston Boy, Well let's see, "pork rinds and sunshine on my shoulder" yes, something like that. LOL. Heck no, you keep that snow. I actually heard on the news that big cities haul there snow to fields near by, as near as can be. Our town, take ours to the swimming pool parking lot and it melts and runs down into the creek. Talk about pollution. Take care on your roads. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
