Last Evening....

This temperatures were just right yesterday. I would have loved an entire summer, of wonderful days ,like yesterday. We sat out and watched the sunset. I have to say I would have sat out longer, but I saw a mosquito , so we called it a day. There was a report on the news, just this morning, about  West Nile fever
and all the other nasties out there. Please parents spray the kids, get rid of things that hold still waters, wear long pants and sleeves when out at dawn or dusk. xoxo

  1. I'm scared of mosquitoes right now too. That west nile is a bad one. Glad for you that your weather is changing. We are not as hot as August but still pretty steamy.

  2. Our yesterday was lovely too, zero humidity, and not hot. After church we sat on the deck and read the paper. i pulled weeds for the first time in weeks. It was 62 degrees this morning-fall is in the air. Have a great week Susie.

  3. We have had 49 days without a raindrop. Rain is in the forecast for today and tomorrow. August and September are the prettiest months of the year, here in the Pacific Northwest. We call September our Indian Summer. Your images are lovely today, Susie! We have been lucky with the mosquitoes because it has been so dry lately. It will be interesting to see if they show up post rainfall.
