This is the setting sun , a couple days ago. I do not know what it happening with my blog photos. One day I can find and load the photos I want and the next nothing. It's not behaving as it should. So this is a small post.
I was going to show some outdoor pictures from around the yard. No luck. So I will write about it. Some things in our yard have suffered through the winter and the on and off start of spring. Our weeping cherry never bloomed it is leafing out but sparsely. The honeysuckle is not blooming only about a dozen leaves. The hydrangeas are just starting to get leaves....not real tall. Our red bud tree only had a small haze of flowers up high. It is leafing at least. A couple Japanese maples are in poor shape. I tell Ted one is dead...he says let's wait.
Well I can wish all of you a wonderful day. I think we are in for some storms. I truly hope nothing serious. Stay safe, xo
Beautiful capture of sunset. Slow and steady wins the rains. So need to wait for some time for all the plants to show it's talents!
ReplyDeleteYes, I am waiting to see if some things will snap back. xoxo,Susie
DeleteI have had some trouble a while back with photos loading, it seemed to just correct itself, I hope yours o too, this is an amazing photo, hope the storms aren't to severe, take care my friend,
ReplyDeleteI am praying my files will come back ...half the time I do not know what I am doing...it's certainly not simple. Blessings for a great day, xoxo,Susie
DeleteThe winter was hard on some of our things, too. We have had to cut away part of a white azalea as well as the hydrangea. The azalea that remains is blooming, and the hydrangea has really grown back from the roots. No blooms there, though. The weather has been really different this season. xo Nellie
ReplyDeleteNellie, I am praying for the neighbor's apple trees to be okay. I think as long as there are leaves to absorb sunshine, the tree will be okay, whether it bloomed or not.. Just won't be any fruit. Can you tell I am a city slicker.LOL. xoxo,Susie
DeleteGorgeous sunset Susie!
ReplyDeleteThe past winter killed so many things! I have noticed that the flies survived though. lol
Beth, the first day I went outside a big fly flew right in my face. That just makes me crazy, how some things survive and some better things do not. xoxo,Susie
DeleteRaining today and making me hurt..This winter did nothing to deter the bugs or weeds..
ReplyDeleteMissy, Beth just wrote about a fly LOL. If weeds were worth anything. Geesh we could be rich. xoxo,Susie
DeleteThat is a beautiful sunset. I often pause when I go upstairs in the evening to look over the houses at the setting sun. It is always special, and I never tire of it.
ReplyDeleteTracey, I am glad you have a special place to see the sunset. I love to thank God for the day while watching the sun set. I wish I had a better view of the sunrises too. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteHow beautiful. Maybe go to the Picasa album when you are trying to upload. Sometimes mine will come up there.
ReplyDeleteI use that a lot, but for some reason none of my newer photos with my new camera file there. I wish I could just have all my photos in one big huge file.LOL. xoxox,Susie
DeleteWell, the one photo of the sunset is beautiful. Hopefully your plants and trees will recover. xo Laura
ReplyDeleteI am thinking if it leafs out that means it's alive and will be okay...just with no blooms. xoxo,Susie
Deleteoh wow your yard is not doing what is suppose too.I wonder why
ReplyDeleteyes a seaside cottage would be so nice(:)..hugs..patty
Patty, even a seaside vacation would be wonderful LOL. xoxo,Susie
DeleteWe've had some beautiful sunsets this week even though there's not a cloud in the sky! I hope you've had a good day my friend! Sweet hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteDiane, I love seeing the come and seeing it set at the end of the day. The rain has pretty much skirted by us...thank goodness it dropped some huge hail on people driving home at rush hour. xoxo, Susie
DeleteIt has been such a year for weather, I don't have to tell you that!
ReplyDeleteAnd I am so hoping that all your flowering things will come back, here's hoping. xx
I think the winter hurt many areas....is that why you aren't having a sunflower fair.?? xoxo,Susie
DeleteIt sure has been strange weather. We thought the cold was over until this past weekend. We had to have the heat. Now, it's warming back . Some of my flowers froze out this winter and some didn't do as good. Hope the storms wasn't to bad. Hugs and love, xo
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty sunset! I am so glad that it's staying lighter longer!
ReplyDeleteHi Susie, thanks for the support, appreciate it.
ReplyDeleteSeems like we are all living in slow gardens this spring, isn't it?
Jen
Gee...my red bud isn't do so good either. Let me know how yours does through the season. But that sunset...it is just magic! Wishing you a lovely day tomorrow! Nicole
ReplyDeleteit's been a slow start to spring here too and i'm ready for her to stay for awhile!
ReplyDeleteWell, it is a beautiful sunset, Susie. Your yard sounds like ours. Nothing much blooming and stuff is very bedraggled looking. It is a SAD Spring so far.
ReplyDeleteHope you had a great day- xo Diana
I love sunset shots. You can't get real good ones around here because of all the trees and buildings. Got some nice ones on Martha's Vineyard a couple of years ago. Hope to get more in a couple of weeks.
ReplyDeleteLovely shot.
Boston Boy, I can't wait to see al the great pictures you will post from your vacation. Lots to see there. xoxo,Susie
