It's a new week, so thankful for that, and for all of your prayers. My daughter Angie is well enough to teach her class this morning. It's I-Steps today also. I hope that won't be too stressful for her.
I will be going over her house and fixing dinner for her family today. That is a way I can help out. I sure wish the sun would shine. It rained in the wee hours. Cloudy this morning.
Ted called from the lodge yesterday. The fellows are all set to fish and have fun. There's a restaurant across from where they are staying...so they can eat. They will grill out also.
Wishing all of you a great new week. Enjoy the weather. XO
I am so glad that Angie is feeling better Susie. I know she will appreciate your cooking dinner for them tonight!
ReplyDeleteYou are such a good friend to us all Susie! Thank you!
Beth, How nice of you to say that. Makes me smile. I wish I could do more . I am not sure what I will make..maybe baked spaghetti. The sun is trying to stay out , it's warming up. Yippee. xoxo,Susie
DeleteI think the guys are supposed to catch fish and eat them - but the restaurant across the street is a great backup plan. :-) Have a wonderful Monday, Susie.
ReplyDeleteThey do eat some of the fish...but they are fishing all week and bring home fish. They bet on who gets the most , who catches the biggest..you know that man bragging thing. You that old saying," the first liar doesn't have a chance." LOL. The sun popped out here.Nice. xoxo,Susie
DeleteHow wonderful that there is a restaurant nearby! My husband has been on fishing trips when all they had to eat was fried potatoes!:-) Hoping Angie will continue to improve. Cooking dinner for her tonight is a great plan! xo Nellie
ReplyDeleteThe fellows go to the grocery nearby and stock up on food. The BIL is the main cook. Plus they do lots of crock pot cooking too. It's meat and potatoes for these guys. They are gone for a week. I will let you know if I cook anything good LOL.oxox , Susie
DeleteI'll pray for Angie still. We've had sunshine here and in the 70's here.
ReplyDeleteHope it peeks out for you today Susie!
Thank you Kimberly...I will feel better once she has seen her family dr. . Our sun is out and I think it's warming up ..hooray. xoxo,Susie
DeleteI am glad your daughter is able to work - she must be much better. How fortunate that you live close enough to help her out.
ReplyDeleteShe was worried about missing her class' I-Step tests. I live about 4 miles from Angie's house. It's father to my other three daughters' homes. xoxo,Susie
DeleteI hope Angie continues to improve; these things really leave you drained. I bet she is glad to have you there to help.

I still will check on Angie...can't help myself. :( xoxo,Susie
DeleteThese are beautiful flowers, Susie. The color is so vibrant.. So glad your daughter is doing well. You have some time to yourself now that Ted is fishing with friends. You can do all the things you love and enjoy. Alone time is so nice once in awhile.
