Fairy Gardens....

 These are the fairy gardens that were at the celebration in my daughter's town last year. I like the little things that the wagon had, the arbor and the country wind mill.
You do not have to have a lot of room to make one of these gardens. This one is in  container the size of a mixing bowl. I love the little table and chairs. Look at those birdhouses.:)  I hope my granddaughters will make a garden this year. If they do here, then I will get photos.

    I love these little gardens. We saw them last year at the Home & Garden Show. They had some like you have too! I LOVE flowers growing everywhere....lol

      Gert, I just went to town and walked with my sister. We saw so many nice trees and tulips. It's about the most perfect time. We stood in front of a lilac and the fragrance was heavenly. God is good. I am happy your oriole was singing for you this morning. xoxo,Susie

      Nellie, I really prefer 60-70's, but I will not whine about the 80's...as I whined enough about the cold winter. LOL. We are to have rain this weekend. So I better enjoy this pretty weather. xoxo,Susie

    I adore the fairy gardens and would love to make one. The little miniature accessories are so cute. I hope your granddaughters will enjoy making one.

      It is pretty today Beth. I went to town and did a couple little walk abouts with my sister Jeanie. Then we sat out side and listened to birds and visited..It seems so long ago we did this last. Hope your day is a nice one with good weather and birds singing. xoxo,Susie

    Oh, fairy gardens. You know how much I love fairies, Susie. If your Granddaughter makes one, I want to definitely see it. That would be fun for you to help her work on it.

      I was thinking of just getting a potted plant and adding some little things to it.LOL ..I have found that the plants I pick usually grow so think or high they hide the cute stuff. Hope you are having good weather. xoxo,Susie

    Some people find a way to be creative with everything they do. These little gardens are a great way to make and have something unique.

      When my granddaughter, Emma, made one here we used an old Barbie as our fairy.LOL When I would go to goodwill, I would pick up the 25 - 50 cent items of little animals to use in the gardens. But there is a whole industry out there making miniature things for the gardens Wow. These are great things for young kids to make...might get them interested in gardening. xoxo,Susie

    These are so clever, because I imagine it isn't easy getting the scale right. They make me think of the Enid Blyton fairy stories I read as a child.
