Gosh, it's cold out today.. .going into spring 46 degrees should be good. But it's not feeling so warm around here. This is after having 80's a couple days last week. The weatherman just said maybe snow flakes in the northern part of our state, Indiana. That is way to cold for me in May.
There are containers of flowers such as these all through our town. Not all are in this type of container. Some are urns on pedestals. It give the feeling of summer being near. LOL
I hope some of you are having great weather and sunshine. xo
It has been cold and rainy here all week Susie. I am ready for some sunshine!
ReplyDeleteBeth, I wished you a nice day on your comments...then saw on the weather map that it was raining your way and headed here. Oh I am so very ready for sunshine. Hope we both get some soon. xoxo,Susie
DeleteNope, no sunshine here today and too cold and windy to be out. I was going to plant peas and decided to wait til it was a tad warmer. (I know they're a cool weather crop, but I'm not a cold weather gardener.)
ReplyDeleteI just told my husband, that I didn't even feel like sweeping the porch it's too chilly out. Hope we get some sunshine soon. oxox,Susie
DeleteI can't believe there are still snow flakes in May.....but it's always colder up in the northern parts of every state. Your flowers are perfect for my birthday. Those containers are cool, and they must look so pretty with the flowers displayed all throughout your town.
ReplyDeleteYour comment cracked me up, Susie. I'm so glad that I have you to share my day with. It makes it so special for me.
love,
~Sheri
Sheri, It should not be snowing anywhere right now but the North Pole.:):) It does look pretty with all the flowers in the containers in town. Just looks like the store owners want it nice. I thought you might like to continue your dream :):) xoxo,Susie
DeleteI ask, "Where did spring go?" because it feels like Summer here. So hot and humid and above 100 last week. I'll take the cool anyway. My flowers died because of the heat and lack of water. Mr. H doesn't water.
ReplyDeleteGosh, I absolutely hate that kind of humidity. I like 65-70 low humidity kind of weather, don't you? Hope you can get the flowers to revive some. xoxo,Susie
DeleteI hope the snow stays away for you.
ReplyDeleteTracey, I hope the snow stays away till next Jan...and even then I am not sure I want to see any. Because the older I get the less I like snow. xoxo, Susie
DeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting. Hope you had agreat day. xoxo,Susie
Deleteugh Susie
ReplyDeleteno morecold weather please(:)
I think I took my electric blanket off the bed too soon. Brr Patty. Let's start thinking sunshine. xoxo,Susie
DeleteI have the heat on again! It stopped raining but still cloudy. I heard maybe frost on Saturday. Its what I have been waiting on before I plant the beans, carrots and raddishes. ;) Hope you warm up soon, but its not happening here.
ReplyDeleteTete, My daughter just commented they could get frost. I heard they could have snow flakes...frost would hurt more than the flakes. I guess it's good I didn't plant anything yet. xoxo,Susie
Deleteits cold here too, yuk, the flowers are really pretty in that barrel,
ReplyDeleteLaurie, I just was outside and it was breezy cold. Hope the flowers last.xoxo,Susie
DeleteGreat planted barrels, Susie. How nice the town does that. It is COLD here today, too. WAY too cold! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteI hope any flowers that people have planted don't get hurt with this cold. Wishing for sunshine, xoxo,Susie
DeleteYour weatherman didn't tell my weatherman about any snow. We have a scattered frost warning. not snow. I hope my lilacs don't suffer.
ReplyDeleteKathy, You Randy Ollis on Ch. 8 ..he is the one that said maybe a flake or two. That would be better than frost. Can you put a sheet on the lilacs?? I miss you honey, Love, mommy
DeleteAfter summer like temps here in Kentucky it may go down to 39 here tonight. What's up with that?
ReplyDeletexo Laura
Laura, My daughter just commented that she may have frost too. Brr, where the heck did Spring go? xoxo,Susie
DeleteThe weather here is not so bad. We had 3 days of beautiful weather followed by a blah day and today we had a little of everything. Clouds, a bit of rain, a sunny afternoon and early evening. As is said around here, if you don't like the weather, wait a minute.
ReplyDeleteB.Boy, LOL, that made me laugh. I say those kinds of days just can't make up their minds. I just swept up about a bazillion of the maple tree whirly-gigs...from the winds stripping them from our one maple tree...they were also all on the porch.:):) xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteWe are actually 30 degrees cooler today than we were yesterday! I've found my warmer clothes again.:-) xo Nellie
ReplyDeleteWow, Nellie, that is a big temperature change. I wear layers. You just don't know what to wear. I have been wondering if kids are dressed warm enough for the bus stop. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteI adore buckets of color!!
ReplyDeleteHi Wand, Oh I had wanted tons of colorful flower this year, because our winter was forever...and I was bored with it. So I wanted to brighten up my porch at least. It's to warm up in a couple days. xoxo,Susie
DeleteHope the sunshine and warm weather finds you soon!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Patti
Patti, I guess I just whined too soon..in a couple days it will be nicer and warmer. :) xoxo,Susie
DeleteHang on, Susie Q. It won't be long now!!
ReplyDeleteOh the weatherman said in a day or two it will be near 70 again. I worry about the frost damage to other areas. blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteI just spent an hour moving things into the garage and covering plants!!! AHHH! I sure hope the warm weather comes back to visit!!! Here is to a warm wonderful weekend to you! Nicole xo
ReplyDeleteNicole, Thank you, I hope it warms up again for you too. I have moved things too. Hoping in a couple days it will be nice again. xoxo,Susie

ReplyDeleteNice to see the flowers in the container. It is hard to protect the plants from strong wind and dirty climate!
ReplyDeleteI had moved that container twice trying to keep it from the wind and hard rain. I am hoping in the next two days it'll be safe where I want it.xo,Susie
DeleteIt's been chilly here to today too. I hope it doesn't get those beautiful flowers. Hugs, xo
