Happy Birthday Twinies.....

My twins have a birthday this week. Here's some old photos of them.  They were 14 months old here.
About four here. Blinded by the sun . Karen's the blonde and Liz is the brunette.
Some times I dressed them alike. They never really looked alike. They were truly very good girls.
This is a few years ago.  They are still pretty close.  We used to call them the "twins" .  When I would yell for them , I would say, " Twins, come in now. "  Or some such thing. Their big sister Angie calls them the "twinies".  They are two minutes apart in age...so Liz lets Karen know she is older...when it comes to being the boss. LOL.
Happy Birthday Sweethearts !! Love you.

    1. Thank you Karen, They do not even have "twins names" We named them after my husband's sister's child and his cousin. This was before ultra sounds were ever thought of. Bless you, xoxo,Susie

  8. Twins are such an interesting phenomenon. I have a set of them 8 years younger than me. They stick together like glue. My mom used to dress them alike (she sewed their clothes) and I think to myself. That must have been boring making two of everything!

    1. Patty, That is funny about how many twins are truly out there. I used to make the twins clothes too. Actually those cream colored top with embroidery around the neckline, I made for them. They would dress alike in early grades but when they got a bit older. :):) Blessings, xoxo,Susie

    1. Kathy, I amazed at how many twins are out there. My twins are not identical at all. One is blue eye /blonde and the other is brown eyes/hair. My MIL used to say one looked like me and one looked like my husband ...or she would swear the hospital just slipped us an extra baby. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

  10. Happy Birthday to your twins! It's a crazy life having two. I have fraternal boys (6.5) and I pray that I survive to see them grow up. Just kidding! They are BUSY and definitely not like girls! Congratulations Susie on raising some beautiful girls.

    1. Hi Amber, If I could give you any advise on raising your twins, I would say hug them and kiss and squeeze them everyday as much as you can. they are growing up and one day you will look and they will be grown. Childhood goes too quickly. Bless your sweet heart, xoxo,Susie

  11. Oh Susie, that first picture of the twins is just darling. They are so cute, and it's so nice they were close growing up and remained close through the years. You are all a close-knit family, and I admire that. Happy Birthday to your dear daughters, Susie.

    1. Sheri, When the twins were little and would fight, I would make sit on the sofa, side by side. They would have to hug before they could get down. LOL. They would do anything for each other. Makes me proud of them. xoxo,Susie
