On a super cold day, the mail carrier brought a gift to my door. We all love getting packages.. It's a gift from Lynne of, Dreams On 34th Street (French Bread & Family). I have been following Lynne's wonderful blog for some time. I love leaving comments and getting them in return.
This is what was in the package....Chocolates !! Not just any chocolates, but heavenly made from the Fran's Chocolates of the Pacific Northwest.
I will have these as an occasional treat with coffee ., on a gloomy days when I need a hug. I know we should not confuse chocolates for hugs. LOL But you can see how wonderfully these are made , so they will absolutely be a treat. Better hide them from Ted. :):)There was also a nice note . Thank you Lynne , for thinking of me.
I wish all of you a great day, as we start this weekend. Be safe. XO
What a nice surprise..I do most of my shopping on line and love it when the UPS guy comes...It's like getting something twice!!..
ReplyDeleteMissy, Whenever I see the Fed-Ex or UPS truck, I actually feel excited. This gift was so nice, first from a friend blogger..I think of many of you as my friends. :):) and since I have not been out much other than to clean walks or go to the grocery. I know one day, I'll be shopping on line...I do not do that now, But Ted does. Bless you, xoxo,Susie
DeleteWhat a sweet treat from a friend!
ReplyDeleteHi Ann, Hope you are doing well. yes, I was happy to receive such a wonderful gift. So sweet of Lynne to send it. I think we need things to break up the cold snap of Feb. Today is warmer in temps but the air is colder than yesterday. Brr...come on spring. :):) Bless you, xoxo,Susie
Deletep.s. hope your cousins are feeling better too.
Oh, my....the only thing better than getting a package in the mail is getting CHOCOLATES in a package in the mail. hahhaaa...So nice of your friend to do it.
ReplyDeleteYou said it BJ !! That is why I kind of kidded about it being a hug. Today is a cold gloomy day and it will be nice to have a coffee and chocolate at dinner. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteHow wonderful! There's nothing better than chocolate. You and your sweetheart will have a happy Valentine's day. Sweet hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteDiane, Was that tornado close to your area?? I have been thinking of you since Al Roker told that this morning. Hope all is well. I am going to lunch with Ted on Thursday the 12th for our Valentine's day out. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteYUM, they look beyond delicious! Enjoy your treat! I would hide them too!
ReplyDeletewarmly,
deb
Deb, I was kidding about hiding them from Ted. I doesn't like chocolate like I do. He likes all kinds of smelly things for snacks, like chex mix, pork rinds. Hope you have a good weekend, xoxo,Susie
DeleteYou won't share them? =D They certainly do look delicious and what a lovely gift to receive.
ReplyDeleteLOL...I will share with my Teddy. He's not really much for chocolates. He like pork rinds, popcorn, things like that. :) xoxo,Susie
DeleteOh, what a wonderful surprise, and sweet gift, Susie!
ReplyDeleteHow thoughtful of your blogging friend to send such a nice gift.
But how could she not? You are such a loving person.
God Bless You.

ReplyDeleteHi Donna, I am thinking of getting a special coffee tomorrow to have with a couple of these chocolates. :):) Now that would be a splurge. It's to be warmer tomorrow. enjoy your trip and be safe . xoxo,Susie
DeleteYay! They arrived on time! Chocolate "is" a hug from me since I cannot travel to Tipton any time soon! I am writing from my phone as I am over sitting with the Grands this weekend. Their mommy and daddy are visiting one of our favorite places, Susie! NYC! ENJOY THE HUGS! -Lynne (w/L) 🚚💗
ReplyDeleteHi Lynne, I wish we were in NYC...you know I love that town. But I want to wait till spring or fall. I have enough snow for me right here. Thank you again for the nice treats. We have had a couple each and they are awesome. Not like store bought. Get some sweet kiddie hugs for me. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteWhat a great treat. I've been savoring dark chocolate as my sweet treat. If I keep it in the freezer I seem to be able to have a little every day. Keep cozy!
ReplyDeleteCarol, If I have chocolates in this house...I would need them in a safe...but then I would probably become the world's best safe cracker. LOL I think we ladies need a chocolate truck driving thru our neighborhoods , you know like a kiddie ice truck....my husband said I would be waiting in ambush for it. :):) So this delicious chocolates may not last too long . Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteOne can never go wrong with chocolate! I might have a problem limiting myself to one a day, though.:-) xo Nellie
ReplyDeleteNellie, I wish chocolates were a calorie free, fat free thing, such as lettuce. :):) I think one piece is just enough to make some people mad. LOL. Blessings for a great day. xoxo,Susie
DeleteOh, these chocolates look so good, Susie. I can see why you would only have them ocassionally as a treat with your coffee. That was so nice of Lynne. I have known Lynne for awhile now too. She was one of my first blog friends. Oh, I wish I had one of those chocolates to go with my tea right now. :~)
