Thought I would show the fake flower center piece. I put it with the silver candy dish and a candle I have been burning. I won't burn the candle with anything near, believe me. Hey two candy hearts from Angie. Used my very old lace table cloth over the red one.
This is my new belt...I kind of lead you all on with the snakeskin title. It's a serpentine belt for my Jeep. LOL. This is the old one , Ted is showing me how it has little cracks in the ribbing. Cost me 47 dollars and Ted put it on for free. :):) I gave him a hair-cut in exchange.
It was a pretty day yesterday and a wonderful sunset. I took this shot on the road, you can see a transformer in the upper right hand corner. :):) So far today is looking good too. I have one load of laundry to get done , then the day is mine to do as I please.
Take care and enjoy today. XO
Love your pretty centerpiece and even your belt. I need new wiper blades. Can I get an appointment? heehee! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteDiane, Have you priced wiper blades lately?? I paid 32 dollars for my last set. But I love good wiper blades, I like to see where I am going. LOL. The flowers are prettier and only cost 4 dollars. Good buy. I tell Ted I try to figure how much it is a year for an item...Those flowers will last a long time :):)This stems from raising 4 daughters on a budget. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteFunny 'snakeskin' belt. :-)) Looks like a good day there. Aren't you glad you don't live in Boston! Have a wonderful day.
ReplyDeleteJudy, I would probably be crying if I lived there. I hope people make sure their flues are open and their tail pipes, things like that. It's scary. I feel I have enough to shovel here, I would not want to shovel our roof. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteYou're too funny..Love your new belt..Sounds like a good trade...I had to shovel our roof long ago..3 stories high!! not fun
ReplyDeleteMissy, The mechanic told me when they fixed my heater that I needed a new belt.. I guess I truly did. Ted and I , one day will just have to buy a new vehicle...we keep take our for fixings, because we say it is cheaper than payments. LOL. Bless you, xoxo,Susie
DeleteYou getting a new belt reminds me of the repairs and work that I have to do to my car. I hope it hangs in there until some of you know what clears up.
ReplyDeleteBoy, I know what you mean. I just had 1300 dollars worth of work on my heater and the flaps that direct the vents...did you know they have to take the whole dashboard out to access it..I maybe would not have believed that, but I saw it in the shop and it looked like a total wreck . That's when they said I needed a new belt...so thankfully Ted put it on for me, probably saved me 65 dollars. It only took him 15 minutes. Engineering on autos sucks...there should be an access door. I hope you do not have any problems ever. Stay warm my friend. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
Deletewow, you have been putting lots of money in your Jeep. Jeepers Creepers. It's good that you have a handyman. Not a bad trade for a haircut. Those flowers look real. Stay warm. It's getting cold out again. But not near the trouble all that snow is causing in the east.
ReplyDeleteDebby, My car is over ten years old and the last fix was the heater.vents system. The dashboard and steering wheel had to be removed to access stuff. So that is why that was costly..it sure wasn't the parts. We are cold again and getting snow. It just can't last. LOL. xoxo,Susie
DeleteYour lace over your red tablecloth is so pretty. Very Valentinie ..(is there such a word? Of course there isn't!!) It looks very nice. I'm about Valentined out! :)
ReplyDeleteMona, I know what you mean about being over things. I do not decorate much for anything other than Christmas. :):) I am enjoying the flowers just for some touch of spring, more than valentines. Thank you so much for coming by. Hope you and your family are doing well. Blessings. xoxo,Susie
