Let's Go To Horton's.....

 One of the many displays at the Horton's hardware store/emporium. Banners, wreaths, ribbons and china.  I like the old candy jars with colored bias ribbons .
 Small drawer from a sewing machine cabinet, filled with sweetness. Tags and laces.
 I love the teacups, creamers and sugar bowls hanging from ribbons. Swags of old lace curtains.
 Creamers in big tarnished silver containers. There are pearls in many displays also.
More pink things. I like this pink pitcher. I have one myself.  Little milk bottles  and many candles.  The more I look at these photos, the more I want to go back to Horton's and buy some things. I really am trying to wait till the spring market, when there will be much more. Their greenhouse will have some spring plantings then.
  Today is cold and some what windy here. I used to work with a fellow who would call this weather balmy. I told him he had balmy confused with blustery. :):)   Let's enjoy this day , whether balmy or blustery. XO

    It is blustery here today! I've never been to Hortons. It looks like a fun place to shop.

    Susie, I wish I could go to Horton's and buy something! They have the most delightful goodies, especially those tea cups. I love pink too, but don't have too much of it around my house. The tarnished silver containers are so pretty too.

    Those delicate rose teacups and pitchers are my cup of tea. Thanks for the trip to your favorite place. I can enjoy browsing while I stay inside on this very cold and blustery day in Texas.

    Greetings from the tundra Well blustery would describe today but at least the sun is out and it looks nice, minus all the snow, but not nearly as blustery as yesterday. Back to work tomorrow. Who knows what driving obstacles await me.

      Hi Boston Boy, Please what ever you do , wear warm clothes and take extra things along to be safe. Call and get a road report if you can. Been watching your town on the news, that snow is hair pulling crazy snow. I remember the old snow picture you showed us earlier last month, this tops that one , doesn't it?       Nellie , I saw where Jo, who lives in Tenn. also had ice. It's scary. Yes, I would be thrilled to see you. so funny, how many ladies would truly love Horton's..     You really need to get them to do a chain store here for me! I love that place and the set ups are wonderful this time. I saw several things that would have come home with me. Its a nasty day and a nasty week....waiting for Feb to say bye bye.

    I'm with you! I think it all needs a second look. IF there is anything that catches your eye, get it. You may never see it again. What cute and interesting things. Awww..I use pearls too.
    We still haven't had any Winter. It's sad.
