It is cold here today...below zero with the wind chill. I have not been able to go anywhere for pictures other than outside. I know you do not want to see the grocery shelves. LOL.
You can see our road has been cleared. We have had some sunshine. That helps keep the blues at bay.
Trying to keep the birds feed and watered. We did get more snow yesterday. I cleaned it up on the walks and porch once but got a bit more snow over night. Yes, this is getting old. :)
I am thinking of having a garage sale in the spring , so now would be a great time to get some things ready. You know take things out of the closets and drawers. :):) What have you been thinking of doing once spring arrives ??
Take care today, stay warm. XO
Good Morning Susie. I can't believe I'm getting to be one of the first commenters. I can't believe that much snow...we are so full of sunshine here, I'm in my sandals. I do think snow is so pretty, but born and raised in CA, I'm a wimp!
ReplyDeleteI have errands to run today...hate it when I'm out of stamps and need to mail a card. Also out of hearing aid batteries..What was that??? HaHa and "poop" bags for Molly (OK too much information)...Have a great day, stay warm and if you every get to CA...come see me.
Wanda, Even though I was raised right...I am turning into a sissy girl, this is the coldest I have ever felt since I was a child. I have to buy stamps by the hundred, I love writing . Thank you for the invite, I would dearly love to see you...I did go to L.A. and Hollywood one year. I enjoyed it so much. Seeing things I had only seen on TV. Blessings to you dear. xoxo,Susie
DeleteThe snow has been missing us but it is cold here in MD. Love the sun on the snow photo.
ReplyDeleteHi Pat, You truly lucked out with the snow...I thought the whole east coast was to be hit this last two snows. I am so happy to have the sun shining today. It actually helps melt the snow , even though at this moment it is 17 degrees. Stay warm there. xoxo,Susie
DeleteSo much snow! It's difficult to imagine for me... Here all the roads were a mess after only a few snowflakes!
ReplyDeleteMagali , Some places that rarely get snow, have a hard time driving in any snow. The news likes to show people in the southern states driving and bumping into each other, whenever they have ice or snow.:) Thank you for visiting me. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteSusie,
ReplyDeletePretty photos. Luckily the snow didn't arrive that they predicted here, but it is cold! Too cold for these old bones. All I want to do is plant flowers and veggies...come on spring!
Farmhouse hugs,
Cindy
Cindy, It is cold here also. 17 right now and it's 3 o'clock. Thankful for the sunshine. Me too girl, I am ready for spring. xoxo,Susie
DeleteIt's cold here in Texas today but will not STAY that way long! This is one of the mildest winters ever! I love to see your snow pictures - it's a sight WE don't have often!!!
ReplyDeleteLinda, I am glad you are having amild winter...it's rough when you have things you want to do. Stay warm and sit by the fire. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteVery pretty pics, but that is scary cold. It's cold in my neck of the woods at 29, but this weekend is supposed to be almost up to 80! I'm looking forward to seeing some pretty flowers blooming in the spring.
ReplyDeleteWow Nonnie, To go from 29 to 80 is a huge difference. Oh yes, I am ready for flowering things and warm air. 43 more days till spring. xoxo,Susie
DeleteWow that is cold, and the snow looks like water in the distance!
ReplyDeleteHi, It has been cold all day...but oh so nice to have the sunshine. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteThe wind is bitterly cold here today, too Our low for the night is predicted to be 15! When springtime really arrives, hopefully we will be able to work in the vegetable garden! Until then, we have this flooring project to keep us busy.:-)
ReplyDeleteNellie, It's to be cold tonight here also. But hey ,this coming weekend is to be much warmer. I would just love to be able to cut the mums back :):) Blessings, xoxo,Susie
Deletep.s. I like the way your floor is looking.
Its cold here and we got snow last night, but the sun is shining. We are going up to 47 this weekend and I can't wait to get out then. Love your photos.
ReplyDeleteTete, I think we are going to have about the same weather as you. I could use a pleasant day. I have been cold all day. Bless you, xoxo,Susie
DeleteI love the look of fresh snow that hasn't been dirtied up traffic and smoke fumes.
ReplyDeleteMary Alice
Mary Alice, I hate when it melts and then refreezes....you almost have to have dynamite to clear it. LOL. I am wanting warmer temps...and I think this weekend looks promising. Bless you, xoxo,Susie
DeleteHi Susie, We got another 3 inches yesterday, but it was light and fluffy. It wasn't like the other day when I cleaned off my car. It was parked all day. I did go to breakfast, but I didn't have to drive. Stay warm and safe. Hugs and Prayers from your Missouri Friend Shirley.
ReplyDeleteI know one day it rained on top of the snow and it was heavy...that's the scary kind to shovel...when it's all fluffy it's okay. I am hoping this weekend is somewhat warmer. Blessings dear friend, xoxo, Susie
DeleteGood Thursday to you Susie. We just got cold weather no more snow. It was not bad outside today with it only being 14 because the sun was out so it felt warmer. Have a great Friday and great week end.
ReplyDeleteKris
Kris, Thank goodness we had the sun. It did help to melt some, even though the air temps were cold. This weekend is looking good for us. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
DeleteSpring? Maybe just getting outside without freezing to death...lol We had to go out three times today. Really never got much warmer..lol
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Gert
Gert, I have always thought of February as our coldest month. This sure is feeling that way....but by Sunday it may be high 40's. That's almost spring like temperatures. Let's keep warm. Bless you, xoxo,Susie
DeleteSame here, Susie. I did grocery shopping today, too, and the cold stung my face so bad I had hives! Really!
ReplyDeleteStay warm.
Jane xx
Blondie, I think we may get a warm up this weekend. I have had that kind of reaction to the cold before. I hope you are feeling better...it's only 42 more days till official spring. :) Bless you , xoxo, Susie
DeleteI am over the snow already. And we are getting more this weekend. I had a really close call yesterday driving to work-not my fault-and I want to move south! That picture of the sunrise and mailbox is awesome!
ReplyDeleteKathy, Let's go to Charleston. LOL. I am sick of the cold this year...and it has been a mild winter really. If you move south, have a mom's room for me to visit. LOL. Miss you honey. Love and hugs, mom
Deletewe'll vacation there and you can help me find the right place! xoxo
DeleteAahh, these snow pictures are so pretty, Susie, and the sun is dazzling in that second picture. Yes, you should have a garage sale this spring! I love garage sales, and you get to clear out some of the old stuff, and make a little money in the process. It's a bit of work to get it all organized, but I think it's worth it.
ReplyDeleteWell, this spring I am looking forward to planting some roses at our new home, but I'm wondering what the best month is to do this.
Your pictures are very nice, Susie. Below zero, brrrrr, that's cold.
love, ~Sheri
