Winter Scenes.......

It is cold here today...below zero with the wind chill.  I have not been able to go anywhere for pictures other than outside.  I know you do not want to see the grocery shelves. LOL.
You can see our road has been cleared.  We have had some sunshine. That helps keep the blues at bay.
Trying to keep the birds feed and watered.  We did get more snow yesterday. I cleaned it up on the walks and porch once but got a bit more snow over night.  Yes, this is getting old. :)
I am thinking of having a garage sale in the spring , so now would be a great time to get some things ready. You know take things out of the closets and drawers.  :):) What have you been thinking of doing once spring arrives ??
Take care today, stay warm. XO

  1. Good Morning Susie. I can't believe I'm getting to be one of the first commenters. I can't believe that much snow...we are so full of sunshine here, I'm in my sandals. I do think snow is so pretty, but born and raised in CA, I'm a wimp!
I have errands to run today...hate it when I'm out of stamps and need to mail a card. Also out of hearing aid batteries..What was that??? HaHa and "poop" bags for Molly (OK too much information)...Have a great day, stay warm and if you every get to CA...come see me.

    1. Wanda, Even though I was raised right...I am turning into a sissy girl, this is the coldest I have ever felt since I was a child. I have to buy stamps by the hundred, I love writing . Thank you for the invite, I would dearly love to see you...I did go to L.A. and Hollywood one year. I enjoyed it so much. Seeing things I had only seen on TV. Blessings to you dear. xoxo,Susie

    1. Hi Pat, You truly lucked out with the snow...I thought the whole east coast was to be hit this last two snows. I am so happy to have the sun shining today. It actually helps melt the snow , even though at this moment it is 17 degrees. Stay warm there. xoxo,Susie

    1. Magali , Some places that rarely get snow, have a hard time driving in any snow. The news likes to show people in the southern states driving and bumping into each other, whenever they have ice or snow.:) Thank you for visiting me. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

  4. Susie,
Pretty photos. Luckily the snow didn't arrive that they predicted here, but it is cold! Too cold for these old bones. All I want to do is plant flowers and veggies...come on spring!

  11. Hi Susie, We got another 3 inches yesterday, but it was light and fluffy. It wasn't like the other day when I cleaned off my car. It was parked all day. I did go to breakfast, but I didn't have to drive. Stay warm and safe. Hugs and Prayers from your Missouri Friend Shirley.

    1. I know one day it rained on top of the snow and it was heavy...that's the scary kind to shovel...when it's all fluffy it's okay. I am hoping this weekend is somewhat warmer. Blessings dear friend, xoxo, Susie

  16. Aahh, these snow pictures are so pretty, Susie, and the sun is dazzling in that second picture. Yes, you should have a garage sale this spring! I love garage sales, and you get to clear out some of the old stuff, and make a little money in the process. It's a bit of work to get it all organized, but I think it's worth it.

Well, this spring I am looking forward to planting some roses at our new home, but I'm wondering what the best month is to do this.

Your pictures are very nice, Susie. Below zero, brrrrr, that's cold.

    love, ~Sheri
