There were many stained glass windows. Big as doors.
This one had a couple of damaged places.
This one was priced at one hundred and ninety-five dollars. I did not get a picture the arched one that was in the best shape, sorry. It was Two twenty-five.
I always love these bronzed baby shoes. I later thought these would make good pen and pencil holders.
This is just one shot of some jewelry. There are many, many display cases with jewelry. Some good , but mostly costume jewelry. Okay this is all the photos I have to show from my junking trip to the Treasure Mart.
It rained all day yesterday and most of the evening too. The sump pumps came on and are still running. Water is standing everywhere. There was flood warnings till 4:30 this morning. That was just for our county. Many more are still under warnings. I am hoping for some dry weather. I hate to even say this, but the mosquitoes are already out. I do not see much outdoor activity with out wearing some kind of repellent. I am not crazy about that.
Wishing all of you a good Saturday. Be safe. XO
ORIGINAL SIN ROMANS 5:19 BY STEVE FINNELL
ReplyDeleteAre all men guilty of sin because of Adam's sin in the Garden of Eden? No, they are not. Will men spend eternity in hell because Adam sinned? No, they will not.
Original advocates present Romans 5:19 as a proof-text for original sin.
Romans 5:19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man's obedience many will be made righteous.(NKJV)
The theory is that because Adam was disobedient in the Garden of Eden, then all men are guilty of sin at birth. Men are guilty of sin because they sin, not because Adam sinned.
Are all men made righteous because of the obedience of Jesus? No, they are not. Men become righteous only if they are obedient to the gospel plan of salvation.
All men are not sinners because Adam sinned.
All men are not righteous because Jesus did not sin.
Romans 3:23 for have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (NKJV)
All men become sinners because all men sin.
1 John 3:4 Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.(NKJV)
All who commit sin are sinners. Being born is not committing sin. Being born is not a lawless act.
James 1:14-15 But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. 15 Then, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death. (NKJV)
Temptation comes before sin. Babies in the womb are not tempted. Infants do give into the desires of fornication, drunkenness, theft, murder etc. Only those who know good from evil are capable of sin.
Romans 5:12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned---(NKJV) [BECAUSE ALL SINNED]
Adam introduce sin into the world. All men will die physically because of Adam' sin. Men will suffer spiritual death, because they themselves sinned.
2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgement of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.(NKJV)
Men will be judged according to things they have done. Men are not going to be judged by what Adam and Eve did in the Garden of Eden.
The only way to escape the punishment of sin is forgiveness through Jesus Christ.
ORIGINAL SIN IS NOT FOUND IN THE BIBLE, IT IS A MAN-MADE DOCTRINE.

Have a great Saturday-xo Diana
Thank you Diana, I am going to try that. The skin -so-soft doesn't always work. I've tried the dryer sheets too. Have fun with your family there. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteThe stained glass windows are actually a very good price! They are works of art! Enjoy your weekend. Hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteDiane, I thought that was a good price for the windows . The arched one was in really good shape. There's an old church , down our road , sits on Hwy 31. It has beautiful windows and has been a gift shop once. I do not what will become of it. Hope your weekend is fun with your honey. xoxo,Susie
DeleteI really like the stain glass!! and the baby shoes are just like some my auntie had made 60 years ago for my cousin, lol,
ReplyDeleteI hope you soon are free of the flooding,, very scary! Thank goodness for sump pumps!
I can remember those shoes like that with a framed photo of the baby that wore them on the same stand. Cute ideas. I do not if people ever do that any more. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteYou must have sent the rain to me because it rained last night and it's still raining at the moment. We have been told it will continue to rain until well into Sunday. My lawn and flowers are looking great but?
ReplyDeleteHave a great Saturday Susie. See ya.
Cruisin Paul
Paul, So sorry about the rain. I did pray it would go to the western states that are having forest fires. I hope you do not get too much rain. I really hate flooding. Blessings Paul. xoxo,Susie
DeleteMore great treasures. Love the bronze baby shoes too. They would make a great pencil/pen holder for a desk. Have a good Saturday.
ReplyDeleteKris
Kris, I can remember those bronze shoes with a framed photo of the bay too. I think my mother's friend had all three of her children's shoes done. Hope you are not being rained on. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteWe had an unexpected storm last night that caused huge whitecaps in the lake and blowing, blinding rain! I don't know anything about stained glass except that it is pretty. My girlfriend's parents had all their baby shoes bronzed. I always thought that was neat.
ReplyDeleteGlad I stopped over here to see Diana's recommendation for the Johnson's baby oil cream for mosquitoes. I'm going to buy it since nothing else works. Blessings, Susie.
Nonnie, I am going to try that baby oil cream too. It would have to be better for our skin than deet. I am hoping we get a break in the rain . Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteWe could really use some of that rain here. We had a little overnight, but really just a sprinkle. That is lovely stained glass! xo Nellie
ReplyDeleteNellie, I would like for everyone needing rain to get some and for those that have had enough...for it to move on. I personally have had enough. So have the fields around here. It's not good. Blessings for a great Sunday...something to look forward too. xoxo,Susie
DeleteI am so sorry for all your water! Been there and done there and still need to get our sump pump in the ground and running. That's one of two jobs Louis Dean will tackle just as soon as he's recovered. Hopefully you won't get rain inside your home. The mosquitoes were REALLY bad here, too, after all the rain. We went to Tractor Supply and bought several things to help with them and now, once again, we can sit outside with little concern. Still I do a light fogging of the gazebo before we go out there, just in case!
ReplyDeleteIt just doesn't seem right to NOT want rain! But too much of a good thing is nearly just as bad as not enough!
Thinking of and praying for you just as you did for us!
Thank you for the prayers. Our pumps are in the basement. Late night both were running....then we had to us the submersible one along with the two in the pit. I did not sleep well because I just worry like that. They stopped running at noon. So maybe I will get some sleep tonight. I am praying for you and LD, for him to get well quick and you to not wear out waiting on him. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteYa know, with all the times Arlene and I have been to you know where, we have never stopped into a wide array of funky shops. I would become the proverbial drunken sailor. Would that make Arlene a sailorette?
ReplyDeleteStained glass can be quite expensive. I just know that I should stay out of those places.
Boston Boy, Yes, what is wrong with you?? not going junking at the Vineyard? The Sailorette might be the once walking backwards as you carry your heavy purchase. LOL. I bet you two are a fun pair. Nothing like a great friend , who gets your jokes. Hope you are doing well and not getting too much rain. It turned into a pretty afternoon here. I am so thankful. Bless you, xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteThe mosquitos are out here also in full force! I guess all of the rain and then the heat just multiplied them it seems.
ReplyDeleteShopping looked like fun!
Judy
Judy, I am dreading the mosquitoes explosion. I am going to try that baby oil cream that Nana Diana told about on her comment. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteOh Susie, I love all these treasures! Isn't it funny, in this life how the pendulum swings? How stained glass is such a rage? (I also love it!!) So sorry you're having such a wet spring... I pray for some sunshine for you...
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Gert
Gert, I think stain glass is an art and should be saved. We ended up with a pretty afternoon today. The pumps finally stopped. That's good. I think almost all people will get bit..but some more than others. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteBy the way...I read "somewhere" that those of us who are mosquito magnets...is due to our DNA!!
ReplyDeleteRain...oh we enjoyed our own thunderstorm here last night and today was hot and steamy. I went junking and window shopped today and it was in the 90's. Be safe and avoid the flooding and the mosquitos if you can.
ReplyDeleteHi Bonnie, I am going to do my best to stay safe around the mosquitoes. It's been hot and wet this spring and summer ...so far. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteMy hubby would have keeled over seeing the stained glass!
ReplyDeleteJane x
Blondie, I love when men like to buy old junk too. Teddy looks at any old drawer pulls and hinges. That stained glass was reasonable . Hope you are doing well and getting some enjoyment in your gardens. Bless you, xoxo,Susie
DeleteI hope your rain is over with and you are beginning to dry out, Susie. I enjoyed seeing the pretties from your trip. Mosquitos are bad here in GA too. Have a blessed Sunday. xoxo
ReplyDeleteMildred, After all this rain and the water standing....I worry about the mosquitoes so much. They carry that west Nile fever. Stay safe when out in the gardens. Nana Diana told me about the baby oil cream, in a blue tube, that wards off mosquitoes. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
