Throughout our little town are many of these containers. They are even in the park and by the pool. They are by every store. Beautifully filled with flowers and plants. Makes me proud of our town when it is taken care of so nicely. I saw many new containers this year. Some by the library.
I have not been out too much this past weekend. I did see two of my daughters yesterday. Today, Ted is taking me out to lunch. I missed the classmate brunch this morning. Just wasn't up to it. Did not want to be hugging my friends either...no sense passing this cold around. LOL Trying to get in to see my G.P. (doc). They never have enough help , no one to answer the phones only. I want to get a check up and talk with the Doctor, for my peace of mind. Got to get busy here. Wishing everyone a great new week . Hopefully today will be a good day. XO
I hope you enjoy your day. Sometimes just getting dressed and out and about makes a feel a bit better.
ReplyDeletePatty, I make myself get my make up on early...I used to tell my mom to do that. Then if anything fun pops up, you are ready. LOL. Hope you are doing well honey. xoxo,Susie
DeleteHope you feel better really soon, Susie. Summer is no time to not be feeling well. :-) I too love it when the towns are dressed up with planters. We have boulevards filled with petunias in a town nearby. I love it!
ReplyDeleteJudy, I hate being sick but it's worse in summer . I have got to get to Wabash, Indiana...they have pots of petunias all over and hollyhocks grow wild all thru the town. Such a pretty sight. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteThose planters are BEAUTIFUL! Feel better sweet lady!!
ReplyDeleteThank you honey, I appreciate the well wishes much. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteSusie,
ReplyDeleteLove the planters throughout town. Your town is so cute to begin with and these just enhance it more. Have a good day. Hope you feel better.
Kris
Kris, I am not sure but I think the Horton's furnish all the plants for the planters. I got my book from you today. Thank you so much. Enjoy your time away. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteI am sorry you aren't feeling well, Susie. Hopefully you will be able to get in to see your doctor. In the meantime, enjoy that lunch! xo Nellie
ReplyDeleteHi Nellie, I do feel better thru the daylight hours..The tickle and cough are the worst. Hope you are doing well, getting good weather . xoxo,Susie
DeleteI wish my little town had sidewalks Susie, so we could have pretty planters along them. It really looks beautiful there along your street!
ReplyDeleteSending wishes that you feel better soon!
June, Some of our walks are awful....but hopefully they will all be repaired. I am loving the new plants and they are all over. I should drive around and get photos. LOL. Blessings to you and yours, xoxo,Susie
DeleteSusie, the planters around your town are so pretty. I really like them because usually you only see one type of flower in those pots, but these have bright different colors. They are very nice. I'm sorry you're feeling under the weather. You've been through a lot lately, Susie. Have a nice lunch with Ted today; I think that's just what you need, time away with your best friend.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the wishes on Jess' engagement post. She is so excited, and it makes her feel so loved when she gets comments like this one from you. They've been dating for 11 years, and it was long overdue hehehe.
~Sheri
Sheri, Some of the plants are petunias, sweet potato vines, and coleus. I love the mixture of colors. I do wish your daughter the very best. Your blessed with good children, so am I....and we need to always tell them how much we appreciate their goodness. Blessings, love you, Susie

Sissie
Thank you so much Sissie. I wish you the same. I am loving seeing the blue sky popping thru the clouds this afternoon. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteHere's hoping you feel much better thru the week. Rest and lots of water is probably the best thing for ya...well, and a little chocolate tucked in now and then. LOL
ReplyDeleteBJ, You are now my new doctor. I knew chocolate had to be healthy. LOL. It's the water thing I have to make myself think about. I am good first thing in the morning and if I wake in the night I get a big drink then. It's sodas that I have to stop. :) Hope your day is a good one to start the week. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
