Town Planters....

Throughout our little town are many of these containers.  They are even in the park and by the pool.  They are by every store. Beautifully filled with flowers and plants. Makes me proud of our town when it is taken care of so nicely. I saw many new containers this year. Some by the library.  
  I have not been out too much this past weekend. I did see two of my daughters yesterday. Today, Ted is taking me out to lunch. I missed the classmate brunch this morning. Just wasn't up to it. Did not want to be hugging my friends either...no sense passing this cold around. LOL  Trying to get in to see my G.P. (doc). They never have enough help , no one to answer the phones only. I want to get a check up and talk with the Doctor, for my peace of mind.  Got to get busy here. Wishing everyone a great new week . Hopefully today will be a good day. XO

      Patty, I make myself get my make up on early...I used to tell my mom to do that. Then if anything fun pops up, you are ready. LOL. Hope you are doing well honey. xoxo,Susie

    Hope you feel better really soon, Susie. Summer is no time to not be feeling well. :-) I too love it when the towns are dressed up with planters. We have boulevards filled with petunias in a town nearby. I love it!

      Judy, I hate being sick but it's worse in summer . I have got to get to Wabash, Indiana...they have pots of petunias all over and hollyhocks grow wild all thru the town. Such a pretty sight. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

    I wish my little town had sidewalks Susie, so we could have pretty planters along them. It really looks beautiful there along your street!

    Susie, the planters around your town are so pretty. I really like them because usually you only see one type of flower in those pots, but these have bright different colors. They are very nice. I'm sorry you're feeling under the weather. You've been through a lot lately, Susie. Have a nice lunch with Ted today; I think that's just what you need, time away with your best friend.

      Sheri, Some of the plants are petunias, sweet potato vines, and coleus. I love the mixture of colors. I do wish your daughter the very best. Your blessed with good children, so am I....and we need to always tell them how much we appreciate their goodness. Blessings, love you, Susie

      BJ, You are now my new doctor. I knew chocolate had to be healthy. LOL. It's the water thing I have to make myself think about.     Oh Susie, I'm so sorry you are not feeling good. I pray you'll get into see your doctor. Just makes one feel more at ease. So glad you and Ted went out for lunch though. That does seem to lift ones spirits..smile... I love those planters too, just make the towns look so much prettier!! (I mentioned you on my blog tonight...as I think we saw one of your trees!)

      Gert, It did help me to get out yesterday. I enjoyed my time with Ted. Glad you saw one of the catalpa trees. You can usually spot them in woods because they have the masses of blooms on them. Bless you, xoxo,Susie

    Hope you are feeling better soon Susie! I love towns that beautify their streets. There are a few that I know of that do such a wonderful job. Our little town doesn't have pretty pots, but they sure keep the parks and planting areas nice!

    oh.. I hope you are feeling better very soon. nothing worse then a summer cold. Love the planter pic. we have them all around our town too. most of the towns around here do that.

    Sorry you're not feeling well. Our doctor's office went online and we don't have to wait to talk to someone, we just e-mails. They always respond quickly.
