I loved all of these stars. They are made from old barn lumber. This is the greenhouse area of Horton's. I have always liked the old brick walls.
These pots of red petunias , just pop. I need them on my porch. LOL
This fountain is a pretty attraction. As you can see they were not totally set up for the French Market at the time I took these shots.
Here's the cute sign outside , announcing the coming of the French Market. This area will have venders of all kinds around and in it.
My containers never look this pretty...I am so envious. LOL
Last year and this year, I have not bought any potted ferns. I think ferns in pots standing or hanging can just add such charm to a porch. I sure hope all of you are having good luck with your plants and flowers. We have had just a bit too much rain.
Ted's been in the shop making a chair for my daughter, as hers blew away and broke in the high winds that took out our hickory tree.. I have been trying to edge the walkways....but honestly the mosquitoes love me when I am all sweaty. LOL... After getting one walkway and another's one side and two bites...I am done for today. Dang, the fun is gone !!!
Wishing you a day with mosquitoes. XO
HI Susie..(:)

ReplyDeleteHi Susie! I think the Horton flea market is this weekend? I don't do ferns. I fill 3 pots with geraniums for the front porch and that's my gardening skills. Aren't you getting tired of this rain? Enough already! LOL Take care, Susie
ReplyDeletePatty, you made me laugh with your gardening skills. :) I love red geraniums so much. Yes, I am beyond tired of this rain...it is getting too weird...so much rain for June and now here's July starting off so wet. I pray we get some summer. Patty, Horton's market is the 10 and 11....this coming weekend. Plus we are having Tipton County fair. Hope you can make Horton's I will be there Saturday. Bless you, xoxo,Susie
DeleteIt's raining here today! It would be a good time to get out in the yard and weed - not sure I have the time, though. Louis Dean is still sick. Too sick to even have the quads over! He said, "I'm sorry but I just can't handle babies today. I can't even take care of myself!"
ReplyDeleteI planted a fern I had in the house long long years ago. Fronds still come up in the back yard planter! Would you believe I have not one single house plant any more?? I just couldn't handle them any more!!
Linda, Do you guys have a nurse service you could call about LD... That is not sounding good. He loves the children to pieces so he must truly not feel well. Linda, I had a flat of pachysandra when I lived in town...I brought some out here and I swear I must have 12 flats by now. It is so hardy , as a ground cover. I am so tired of the rain around here. I do not have house plants either...too much trouble. I have dried flowers. LOL. Blessings , Love you guys, Susie
DeleteThe mosquitoes love you because you are so sweet...they love me too! heehee! Love that store. Enjoy your day my friend. Hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteLOL, Diane , we need to quit being so sweet. LOL. I have a lunch date with Teddy on Friday and will be going to Horton's on Saturday. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteI try to stay away from mosquitoes! One of these times, I will make that trip for Horton's sale. It looks amazing! xo Nellie

ReplyDeleteMissy, I just hate getting bitten by the mosquitoes. I am not even crazy about flies landing on me.LOL. I'll get some good pictures of the market . Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteThose stars are really very pretty.
ReplyDeleteThank you Munir. I would love to have a few of them, to place around the farm here. I like to see hanging ferns on a pretty wrap around porch. Hope you are doing well....and having nicer summer weather than we are here. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteFerns are pretty on the porch but a lot of times they tend to thin out for some reason.
ReplyDeleteThe mosquitos haven't been bad so far. I got more bites on the vineyard last month, but that's a risk I will take. We're going back in September. I can't wait, but I have too.
ReplyDeleteBoston Boy, I hate weari8ng mosquito sprays.... hate the smell. You better take some along when you go to the Vineyard in Sept. Take care, bless you, xoxo,Susie

DeleteSusie, the stars are so pretty. Those would be so nice to hang in the back yard. The French Flea Market sounds wonderful. I wish I had a shop like that in this town.
