Japanese Maple....

So happy this draft Japanese maple is growing. It was looking bad at the beginning of spring..It looked as if each branch had died back about 2-3 inches at the ends. But now it is looking good again. I love having plants of different colors in the landscape.  I have coralbells and plum bushes in this burgundy color. When you have no flowers....these mixtures help the flowerbeds look nice. We are having some chilly weather these past few days. Hope you are enjoying  your spring. :)

  1. Beautiful color on your tree. We once had a neighbor who had many varieties of Japanese Maples and the colors were breathtaking!

  3. It has rebounded and that is good. I worry about our dwarf one a lot too. I pruned it good and it seems okay for now but our heat knocks it back.
